In-Depth
Appearance:
A thin frame and a delicately strewn pelt cover Nyx’s vital organs. Her agile paws are a blank white, while up her forepaws slowly comes in the tan basecoat. Her pelt is made up of tawny tans, deep browns merging off to a more subtle brown, and even a light gray sort of color. A tiny nub of a tail covered with fluff hangs off her rear; and is almost always wagging with excitement. Atop her skull are two pricked ears; rounded at the top and very proportioned with her head. Often the ears will flop down lazily; creating an adorable-young look to her.
The most gorgeous feature of this little female is perhaps her eyes. Nyx’s right eye is green, while the other his blue. The top split horizontally with a brownish patch with shattered green pigments taking up most of the spot light.
Aside from a normally constantly wagging tail Nyx’s face is stunning; her eyes and facial movements are very expressive of her emotions; as well as her ears, and tail. Her ‘brows’ are almost always showing off her emotion, which makes it hard for her to keep to herself. Her walk is a bouncy, happy walk yet sometimes she’ll stalk around. Smacking her pads against the ground to show she’s in a horrible mood.
Personality:
Nyx is a surprisingly happy dog, being that she’s so young she’s dependent on scraps to feed her belly. There is an extreme lack of trust between females and Nyx, yet she loves males, and finds companionship in them most often. As a puppy, the females always mistreated her, so she’s learned to veer away from them. She’s extremely loyal and playful. Nyx knows no limits to her endless energy, and will often tire herself out to the point of exhaustion. There isn’t normally a time in the day where this little girl isn’t wagging her nub of a tail, or hopping around and yipping for joy.
She’s flamboyant and likes to care for her wonderful pelt. Once old, she knows she’d make a very nice mate for some lucky dog; it’s practically visible now, she simply doesn’t care. She’s very outgoing and won’t beat around the bush on anything. Don’t ask for her pity opinion if your pelt makes you look fat, because if it does; she’ll tell you ‘yes’. She isn’t afraid of challenge or punishing. She’d simply giggle, though if an adult mutt that she doesn’t know attempts to punish her she’d most likely yip like a wild pup and run for it.
Like every other dog under the sun she has a dark side, where she crunches bugs under her paws for the very sound of that exoskeleton crumbling beneath her little weight. Nyx stands up for her beliefs and uses her small size is her advantage in fighting, if she was to get in another fight anytime soon that is.
History:
Born to a normal family, she has no tragic tale where she was abandoned in an alley, or left alone without a mother; not even weaned. Both of her parents were together for as long as they could remember, they lived out a beautiful fairytale life, raising multiple litters alongside the lush outskirts of a town called Halycon. Packs here remained at peace mostly, nothing disrupted the balance of equilibrium among these packs because there really were no younger tyrants to cause any corruption. It was common for pups to leave their family’s sides as soon as they could, off to find a fairytale ending such as their parents.
This was just the case for Nyx, brought into the world as the only daughter in a litter of four. Meaning she received the utmost attention; and only the best of care, Nyx was somewhat spoiled, maybe even a little sheltered. Her parents’ track record in care was basically spotless, and this was highly noted throughout the pack. They referred to her mother on questions in raising their own youngsters, yet somehow this one went slightly wrong. Be it the lack of outside world, due to her mother’s frequent illnesses growing up; but Nyx was always just a little different. Her mother, though ill at times, fought against the viruses and prevailed. She came out a healthy mother, to watch her kids off into the world. Quirkiness noted, Nyx’s mother did small things to hide it, maybe even pushed her beautiful baby out of the nest a little quickly.
Nothing to tarnish a clean record, right?
Notes: She's different?
