Name: Pip
Age: 28 moons
Breed: Mutt (of herding dog origins)
Gender: Female
Pack: Central Urban Pack
Rank: Member
Family Tree:Unknown - Unknown
siblings
none
Other: no
Appearance: Tall and long-legged, Pip strikes a graceful figure, although that is hardly the case. Over her off-white underbelly is a blanket of honey-colored fur, in typical border collie pattern, suggesting that she has origins in the breed. Her nose and underbelly are covered in adorable honey-colored freckles, which complement her icy blue eyes very nicely. All in all, she's a very pretty dog. She is the height of a typical collie type dog, and her fur is short on her head and lower legs, but she has very fine feathering along her body. Her paw pads and nails are pink, and up until she was a year old, so was her nose. Since then, it has turned black, but her paws have remained puppy-pink. Her tail is long and heavily feathered, golden on the top and white on the bottom. An example of how her coat looks is here.
Personality: Aside from being extremely smart and creative, she's the oddest, and strangest dog most people have ever met. She's a compulsive collector, collecting things at random, oftentimes having to steal them. She's very unpredictable, and she sometimes disappears to her secret place (where she hides all of her "collectibles") for days at a time. She is a little bit immature, and she has a hard time deciding when to be quiet and when to speak, and usually her decision ends up being the wrong one. She is just the teensiest bit scatterbrained, oftentimes forgetting and confusing the names of dogs she's known for years. It has nothing to do with her intelligence, which is far beyond average (due to her border collie blood), it's mostly attributed to the major concussion she suffered as a pup. Oftentimes, she is haunted by disturbing dreams from her past. Besides that, Pip is an agreeable, friendly dog who loves her life and her friends. She is a bit strange though. She mutters under her breath a lot, about dreams and other random things that no dog will ever understand. She has no idea how gorgeous she is, either. She gets very confused when males look at her in that way, because she has no idea what they are thinking. She is extremely innocent, and while she knows where puppies come from, she refuses to speak of it because it is, and I quote, "yicky". She has a hard time imagining herself ever in that position, so she just shrugs off any and all male attention that she gets. She loves to hunt large prey, another attribute of her herding dog ancestry, and she's very good at it. When she is hunting, Pip is serious and very concentrated. It is the only time when she seems, well, normal.
History: Pip has had no fewer than seven human families. She was abandoned as a pup and rescued by the Humane Association, who adopted her out to a family. Just when she was settling in, they moved away and left Pip all by herself. This chain repeated itself, until Pip became so crazy and hard to handle that no human would take her. She was on the list to be euthanized when the disease hit and the humans failed to show up at the shelter. She was able to escape and after being on the run for a few weeks, she joined the Central Urban Pack.
