Personality: Winter is a gentle dog, a devoted pet, and a fiercely loyal animal altogether. She loves to run, and her master takes her jogging every morning. Generally a quiet dog, Winter also enjoys leisurely walks and strolls with her Twoleg's aging mother. Never one to be rambunctious or reckless, the German Shepherd is trusted immensely by her owners, who allow her to lay with their young Twoleg cub, despite her size.
History: As a puppy, Winter was stray. She was born to a stray mother, who had been forcebred and left to die in the streets. She was a beautiful black German Shepherd, and she was very surprised when she gave birth to a pure white pup. Soon, Winter's mother and her sister, Autumn (ironic, no?) were caught by the Humane Association, treated for minor heart worms and eventually put up for adoption. At the age of eight months, little Winter was adopted by her new family, who were expecting a baby. Her mother and sister were adopted separately, her mother to an elderly couple who soon moved out of town, and her sister to a family who lived nearby Winter's new family. Now, some nights Winter manages to escape her backyard to meet with Autumn. There isn't a pair of sisters who could be closer.
