Name:
Cayote.
Gender:
Male, in-tact.
Age:
3 years.
Breed:
Saarloos Wolfdog x Gray Wolf.[Wolf Hybrid]
*Stray or Domestic:*
Domestic.
Personality:
Cayote is a pretty layed-back dog. He's definately no pampered pooch, and doesn't act like one; in fact, he probably has more street smarts than the common, rangy stray itself. He prides himself in staying calm and cool in harsh situations, and won't loose his temper easily. Besides that fact, the brute clearly has an aggressive side from the wild Wolf in him - especially when it comes to the same sex. Though the male is self-assured in his abilities, he doesn't beam with confidence, and isn't arrogant like most brutes.
History:
Born into a normal family, Cayote's mother had breed with a wild Wolf one day while she had escaped from her owner's yard; resulting in just two pups. The eldest male was named Cayote, while the younger pup, another male, was called Dingo. The males were raised by their Saarloos Wolfdog mother to despise humans, for her own owner - a 'gangster', as they call them - simply used the female for her feral looks to warn off any who tried to steal from the property. Naturally, the two male pups were sold as soon as they turned 6 months old - both to the same owner, who was looking for some fighting dogs. These two seemed perfect.
Cayote and his brother were taught all the best techniques, and finally, as yearlings, were put to the test. Both of them won their first fight. But, a year later when they were used to the fighting, they were thrown into the ring together; forced to fight eachother...to the death. Being larger and stronger than his little brother, Cayote automaticly had the advantage; he won the fight quickly, making a clean kill; as painless as possible for his siblings. Scarred for life from the experience, he swore never to kill without reason again. Because of his lack of willingness to fight from then on, Cayote was sold to a new owner; with whom he lives now, used as a guard dog, chained in the front yard.
Other:
Cayote is an abused guard dog - he is domestic, but not by his own will. He is chained to a steak in the front of his owner's house with a choker caller, but does sometimes get loose.
