Though Hikari is a friendly dog, and not a pampered house-pet by any means, she finds herself to be extremely cautious; even with those who don't seem to have a mean bone in their body. She finds it easier to bond with male dogs for some reason; maybe it's simply because she doesn't like the competition for dominance that goes on between females, who knows. Other than that, she makes friends easily, and hates the idea of having an enemie. Intelligent with some street-smarts, the female knows how to protect herself, and has a sharp tongue, but only uses it and her muscles when absolutely neccasary.
History:
Born to be a show dog, Hikari was highly priced simply because of the rarity of her breed. East Siberian Laikas had just been accepted into the American Kenel Club arround the time she was born, so they were on high demand by many Husky breeders who wanted in on the new rave. Instead, she wasn't sold; but sent to a pet store, simply because she turned out to have a pink nose; breed description says her nose should be cole-black. Because of this flaw, she wasn't owned officially until she turned around a year old. The pet store had sent her to the pound a few months ago, when she became to old to keep. There, she was adopted by her current owner; a woman named Sara, who thinks owning Hikari will be a way to keep intruders out of her rather nice-looking home.
