Personality: Carpet is huge, but his personality isn't, and its a total contradiction to his size. He looks as though he wouldn't be scared of anything, right? Well in truth, he's scared of just about everything. He really doesn't like going outside, and tends to avoid it as much as possible. There are horrible things out there! All those strays running around are really scarey, too! Carpet thinks the sun is evil, too, and tends to stay IN the shade whenever he does go outside. Which, is very rare. Obviously, he has some self esteem issues going on. Maybe its because of his name?
Either way, Carpet is really loyal despite the fact that he won't go outside a lot. After all, the only friends he has are his family. Even the gardener and the pool guy have to watch out sometimes, because he likes to sneak up and bark at them. Its a habit, scaring those silly tresspassers away. Thats just about the only time he goes outside, though. That or on the occasional walk.
There is no way that Carpet would ever speak out of line, either. He does as he is told, and keeps quiet when he doesn't like something. Respect is something the huge dog actually has.
He tends to be rather off balance too. This is probably because he can't see because of the long cords of hair infront of his eyes. So, tripping and falling is something he does very often.
History: Born a pure bred dog, he was bought by a small family. The family including just a married couple, and their five year old daughter. The daughter was really, the only one who thought that Carpet was cute. So,the parents gave in and bought the puppy for their daughter. Of course, being five years old, her favorite movie was Aladdin. The parents of Carpet, looked like big Carpets to her..so..she named her new dog..Carpet. No matter what the family did, they couldn't sway the childs mind. So it stuck.
