A P O L L O N I O S
Anatomy says; Male; in-tact
Alive for; Two years
Type; unknown
Living; On the streets
Acting out; Apollo is surprisingly calm for all that he’s gone through in his life, though he does have very bad habits and traits about him dogs can just learn to love his flaws right? Apollonios is very sarcastic, a dog could be in the worst mood and be sobbing out their life full of horrible happenings and Apollo would just crack a joke that would send the mutt writhing in tears. He is more of a loner than anything else. He loves his quiet alone time, which just happens to be all of the time now that he’s broken ‘free’. His opinions on house dogs aren’t that bad, he actually envies them. He wants that perfect lifestyle where you get a beautiful bay window to gaze out at the street, when he’s simply on the outside looking in. He would give his tail to live like that, yet he keeps those thoughts bottled up. Who would want to talk to a wise street dog that wishes he could be a house pet? No one.
Past; Born to a broken family, his mother had been a show dog who’d gotten loose one morning and ran into a mutt. They quickly thought they were ‘soul mates’ and did the deed. Soon after, Lily (his mom) was spotted near a dumpster with her love and was taken to an animal shelter, her masters picked her up, unaware their pristine dog had been tainted. Soon she began looking heavier, the owners could not show a dog that was bloated and obese, so they took her to the vets. Upon hearing the news the owners were shocked. They kept her however until she gave birth. The pups were obviously not show dog quality so they gave them away for free. Apollo was given to a family who had a problem with birth control if you catch my drift. Ten children all at least nine months apart, feeling threatened as his hair was yanked beyond whining terms, and his tail being pulled harshly he snapped at one. It was out in the backyard for three days straight, with the man of the house scowling every feeding time and nearly kicking Apollo when he’d get too close to the door. One night the man did kick him, square in the jaw. It sent him in an angry frenzy; he lunged at his master splitting open his calf until he felt content. They tied him up where he waited for his fate. He pulled himself from the ground one night, and tugged until his collar pulled off his neck, and he was free. He hopped the fence and left tail between his legs. All he ever wanted was a home.
Misc; If anyone has an assumption of what type of dog Apollo is, please tell me. I’d say he has a bit of terrier in him by his looks but which type, I have no clue.
