Breed: Mutt, thought to be part shepherd, retriever, and possibly coyote
Personality: Loch is a very valiant dog. He's brave, smart, and proud. He seems to be the model street dog, but his past is hardly that. He was a pet for many years, owned by an elderly woman who lived on a farm on the outskirts of town. Loch, then called "Buddy", would herd the livestock, chase the mice, and he was loving and faithful to his owner. But when she died, he ran away, grief stricken, and vowing never to be a pet to anyone again. Now, he resents ever being owned, but deep, deep down, he still misses his old owner.

Special: He is in love with Rita, a farm dog, but refuses her offer to live with her on the farm. Rita is pregnant by Loch.
