sex[/b] Female; it’s a slight wonder if she is fixed naturally or not, she’d bred before but was infertile and produced no offspring, yet at one point she was told she could conceive if she tried a few times.
years One year; four months.
type[/color] Catahoula Leopard Dog.
ranking Street born; and raised.
character As a female with a some-what traumatic past her personality is one with many different behaviors to different situations, with other types of dogs/beings, her persona is completely unpredictable. Call her bipolar or anything; it won’t change the way she thinks about you.
Her morals are set in her mind and Callisto will do whatever she can to follow the ‘right’ path. As a firm believer of individuality she isn’t one to conform quickly; sure she’ll join a pack on her travels here and there, but she won’t mold her mind around their beliefs and ways of life.
Trust from Callisto is often gained quickly through a simple conversation or a romp around a yard or two, though if a dog gives her any reason to doubt him or her, or not to trust that dog she’ll let got of your life and not care about anything they do, sure a small burden will be there if she’s the sole reason they ran out of town, though she’d surely get over is sooner or later. Though after she drops that trust for the first time; there will be no second time to do her wrong for she won’t ever trust them again. The way Callisto could ever be considered a bi-polar dog is if you betray her; for it is something she truly loathes.
One could also say she has multiple personality disorder, though Callisto would most likely just brush off this comment as pure jealousy that she isn’t their ‘buddy’. She’s loyal and faithful to those who deserve, or have earned her respect. Though to those whom are completely rude and or untrustworthy she may be the last sight you see before you enter the fiery gates of hell.
Another reason as to why she may have these multiple personalities could be because one moment she’ll be sleeping; completely pooped and the next minute she’ll be up running around chasing anything that moves; and playing with anything that won’t react sourly at her attempts of friendship.
Callisto is somewhat a ‘social butterfly’ and loves meeting new dogs. She won’t go out on a limb to befriend a dog; though she will play fight any dog willing to take on the role of her own companion.
past Birthed onto a rugged couch fond deep within the reeking depths of a dump; he was born to the bosom of a street dog alphess and alpha. He lived the high life placed above the other members and pups due to his mother’s and father’s ranks in the pack.
Somehow her mother and father were both pure Catahoula Leopard dogs. Callisto was deemed the alpha pup due to her respectful pup attitude and her wonderful way of showing dominance over the smaller pups. As alpha of her mini-pup-pack, she strived for more attention; and normally got it. Though only three other pups inhabited her mini-pack she wanted more and more attention.
On a ‘hunting’ trip with her father, her two brothers and sister followed to get taught a bit about the dynamics of hunting in a city. As they were hunting the attention craving adventurous Callisto chased after a mouse, which ran into a Dole fruits truck; unknowingly putting herself in danger she tagged along chasing it to the front of the semi-truck. Thankfully she caught her mouse but on the way back out the way she came in; there was no way to escape. A black metal shield held her in; dead mouse hung loosely in her jowls.
As she traveled in the back of this truck her puppy mind raced. As the back opened she darted out, scaring the truck driver and making a break for the alley. As she rounded the corner, mouse still clamped in her jaws she whined out in sadness. Two large dogs emerged, and the circled her, the cocky Callisto snapped at one and paid for it majorly, battered up and bruised she saught refuge with the pack that just put her in her place as omega. Though mentally she had a hard time dealing with the transition from alpha to omega, she took it rather well for a pup of her stature.
A year later she was fed up with the constant heckling and moved; running away to Harlow to start new.
