Personality: When Marla 1st meets you, she is shy, and rather insecure. But she warms up to others rather quick, and becomes outgoing. She is rather adorable, and she knows it, but doesn’t act superior. She can be flirty, but it’s usually only with one dog, whom she really likes/loves. She’s very caring and likes to cheer people up, but tries not to be, which can be hard because she’s a very curious being. She’s very sympathetic, and a good listener, but it also very talkative. She does, however, know when to shut up. She is very respectful, and good at following directions, and remembering everything. She does plan on having pups, hopefully in the near future. She likes to cuddle and relax, but is always up for an adventure when it comes along. She does believe that everyone has someone for them, somewhere. But she doesn’t believe in destiny, being a free spirit. She thinks we should all do what we want and get the most out of life, for a dog’s life it much to short to be sad. She tends to be emotional and can get upset easily. But she cheers up rather quickly and then it’ all over with. She’s a friend to everyone who wants to be and is good as settling small fights, because she really hates fighting. She also loves to run, and be a bit playful, much like a puppy. She likes to laugh and be happy, and occasionally makes little jokes. She plans on joining the pack, for she hates being by alone, preferring to travel/be in groups. It takes quite a lot to wear her out, and it often seems that she has endless energy, also much like a puppy. She is very loving and affectionate and would be a very good mother. She’d much rather be a follower than a leader. She doesn’t like to judge, or make assumptions, so she usually thinks a few seconds before doing something, unless it sounds crazy fun.
History: Marla was born in a puppy mill and was bought by a rich family soon after she turned 8 weeks. She didn’t really know her kin, so she didn’t miss them. The 1st family wasn’t abusive but they just used her mainly as an item. They were often away, so she was usually in a small cage in the dark. Finally they decided they wanted a more posh dog, like a Yorkshire. She they left her at the shelter. Soon after she was adopted by a very kind young man. He played with her, but soon he stopped and many people began coming over. The house smelt horrid and the people were loud and crazy. By this time she was about 2 and half years old. Then, one night, she awoke to the door being kicked down and men in uniforms. One of them put something on her human and another grabbed her and took her back to the shelter. Within 2 monthes a woman came and took her, giving her to her elderly mother. The lady was kind and make sure she had food and water. But she was a forgetful old thing and left the door open once. Marla took the opportunity. She is now traveling to the pack’s territory, in hopes that she will be accepted.
