Name: Shiloh
Gender: Bitch - In tact
Age: 3yrs
Breed: German Shepherd x Belgian Teruvian
*Stray or Domestic:* Stray
Personality:
Intelligent. Fierce. Untamable. Dominant. Proud. Beautiful. A hardass. And yet... Loyal with a spirit as wild as the sea. Shiloh is not the dog to mess with. She is rabidly loyal to those she chooses to care about and would do anything for her pack, even lay down her own life. She is kind and loving to those she calls loyal friends, and protects them from harm as well. Other than that she's a bit concieted, aggressive, and arrogant. A true fighter at heart, the Teruvuren Shepherd will not shy away from getting into a brawl with males or females of both large and small, no matter how much blood her opponent has spilled. She's also not the type of female to be pushed about by a male, nor seduced by one unless it's on HER terms and she wants it. Forcebreed her? You can try, she's no damsel to be distressed, and you won't live past the first five minutes after or even during. Because of her looks she's quite the temptress and she knows it, sometimes flaunting it and at other times hating her looks for the attention from males it draws. She holds herself proud no matter who's presence she's in, knowing she's got just as much bark as she does bite, standing down to nobody. This is one female you don't want to dance with unless you're on her good side. If not, it's your funeral not hers. She is reserved and never shares her feelings with anyone, and she has a fierce hatred for pets. She puts up this hard, tough front to hide her emotions, so she hardly ever shows fear or sad emotions, just anger and happiness briefly. Will there be someone who can knock down that mental and emotional wall? Doubtfully. But who knows what the future holds for this beautiful young huntress.
History: Growing up, Shiloh was the only female within a litter of 6, her mother being a german shepherd, her father being a Belgian Teruvian. Her mother was very kind and sweet, taking care of her quite well and always loving on she and her brothers. Not a moment went by that Shiloh felt she wasn't loved, until the day her mother died when she got hit by a car saving one of her brothers.
After that Shiloh was raised by her father, who came in and took up the role of lead parent and guardian of she and her brothers, but as fall came, her brothers were mostly adopted out except for she and Rex leaving her as the only female of the litter. Rex was thought to have been adopted though, and so Shiloh was the one that stayed with her father, her brother being left out in the cold to wander the city and find his own path. Upset about the loss of his other sons, her father took his anger out upon Shiloh, constantly telling her that he wished it had been she that had left and not his sons, for she was the weaker one in the litter, not to mention that she had the coat coloration and eyes of her mother. He hated Shiloh because she survived the abuse he gave her, because she reminded him of his lost mate, and simply because she didn't want to do what he told her to do.
Where Her father was a fighter, Shiloh was a lover. And when they'd spar and fight, if she caused another dog to yelp, she'd instantly stop and apologize. Shiloh's father was disgusted by this, saying she was 'too soft' and if she failed to take down another dog she was brutally punished by being thrashed about and mauled by her father until she fought back. But that's just it...she never did. So, sometimes she'd go to bed licking at her wounds only to rise up the next day to another torturous day of her father's training.
As Shiloh grew older, she began to look more and more like a beautiful young canine, and it wasn't long before she had the eyes of most males in her area, looking upon her lustfully. But she was so naEe to all of them, far too friendly for her own good to understand that when they smiled or wagged their tails at her, or gave her comments of how beautiful she was and how they'd be lucky to have her....they weren't just joking. They wanted her. Bad. And it is because of her failure to recognize lust in males that she was forcebred by a pet when she came into season for the first time.
Running back to her father crying, she told him of what had happened and he was disgusted by it. Shiloh was miserable because she was pregnant with some bastards welps and inexperienced. She wished her mother was there, not her father, for her mother would have been so much more understanding than her father, who called her a weakling and said she deserved it for being so dumb as to not watch her back when in heat.
The day came that the welps were born, and Shiloh was relieved that all four were born strong. She was scared because she was inexperienced, but she still did a fine job of mothering them. Her father was glad her welps were so healthy, but he could easily tell that there was suffering in her eyes each time she looked at them. So, one day he allowed her to go out to eat while he watched over her children. But when Shiloh came back, she didn't come back to see her whelps still alive and well, she came back to their tiny bodies shredded and in ruins. Her father had slaughtered them all, thinking he was doing her a favor.
Enraged and distraught at the death of her pups, she attacked her father only to be defeated once more, despite the fact that she did a good amount of damage to the rugged brute. After their fight Shiloh left his territory and went off to find one of her own, soon finding a home in the back alley of an Italian restaurant named Buca De Beppo's. This restaurant had a great impact on helping her make friends, though not of dog type, of human type.
As people came and went during the day, Shiloh would often be seen sitting near the doorway watching them, and at night when she went to bed the Chef would sometimes come out and give her some pasta or chicken or alfredo of some sort for being such a good girl around the humans. A news report went up that all strays were to be captured in the area, an since Shiloh was such a loved part of the restaurant, the owner decided to give her a collar and ID so they'd never have to worry about her being caught. They all knew she was still a stray, and that nobody owned her, but to Buca De Beppo's Restaurant she was their mascot and friend, so it was the least they could to do keep her safe and about.
Though Shiloh got along with humans of her area well, dogs were an entirely different story. She was coldhearted, mean, and sometimes vicious against canines, and remains so until this day. Living on her own without her father's protection turned her into the fighter she is today, toughening her up naturally by freezing her once warm heart; although the loss of her pups didn't exactly help. Only those that earn her respect and trust will be given it in return, and even then it'd be hard to gain her trust entirely. Shiloh's world was flipped upside down by the loss of her pups, and though she puts up a tough front, the pain is still there within her. Will someone ever be able to break down her cold wall? It's hard to tell.
Other: I was thinking of having a plot with Darthyn and Shiloh.. PM me if you'd like to, Maybe. <3;
