Belladonna had settled herself on a wide, flat rock. She looked down at a small glittering pool, where little life forms wriggled through the water. They were fish, but they were much too small to eat. Bella sighed and lapped up some of their water, then scanned her surroundings. This place was beautiful, with the small shoots fo gras that came up from between the rocks, reaching for the sun.
She sighed, feeling her muscles relax for the first time in a long time, and lowered her head to her paws. A pleasant breeze tousled her long, blue merle fur as lids lowered over chocolate eyes.

A massive, hulking canine loped frowards, his shaggy fur rustling slightly in the wind. If it wasn't for golden-colour of his limbs and tawny-brown shade of his back and face, he could probably be mistaken for a baby bear. His bone structure was thick set, and it wqas easy to see his powerful muscles tense and relax with each step, even beneath his thick coat of fur.
Fynn ambled up to the small, crystal-clear pool where Belladonna was, and bent his massive head down to lap up some refreshing, cool liquid. Once he'd satisfied his thirst, he turned his head in a quick nod to Belladonna, saying swiftly, "Morning." Although his voice was low and rather gravelly sounding, it had a surprisingly gentle tone. Even for his giant appearance, Fynn was a very gentle creature.

Bella looked up at the sound of someone lapping water, and saw a HUGE dog standing before her. At first she tensed and scooted backward a few inches, but upon hearing his soft and friendly 'Morning', relaxed. "Hello." she replied, flicking her tail back and forth good-naturedly.
The dog was much, much larger than her, and had the thickest pelt she had ever seen on a dog. Belladonna wondered how he could possible keep cool underneath all that fur. She cleared her throat. "My name is Belladonna. What's yours?"
