But I'll be here cause you're all that I've got.
Golden gaze swept quickly about the place as the two-year old dog stood there, her stance sturdy yet wary. Her stomach tucked up and in, yet her teets were prominant, showing that she obviously was a mother - a young one, at that. The black canine gave her peltage a quick shake, glancing behind her at the two pups that trailed at her heals. Once both of them had caught up, Shadow trotted forward into a clearing in the Web Forest. Today would be the pups' first time out of the Nursery. At two months old, the litter of just two was becoming a hassle. Shadow couldn't keep them cooped up any longer, so for the sake of her own sanity as well as the mental-state of the newer mothers in the nursery, she'd decided to take them out. Pausing in the middle of the small spance of open feild, Shadow lowered her rump to the ground, and the Siberian Husky and Alaskan Malamute mix watched her young ones romp around. Golden eyes sparked angrily, though as she barked out a repremanding order to her youngest; "Shade, don't leave the field. Stay with your brother."
You mutter, you child.
The pup's overly-sized paws padded soflty along the leaf-covered ground, her curious dark blue gaze staring up above her and tracing the seemingly never-ending lines of the spider webs. "That must be why they call it Web Forest," she murmured to herself, though broke her gaze from the webs and stared ahead of her once more as she accidently bumped into her older sibling. Instead of appologizing Shade let loose a squeaky yet strong growl, lifting her top lip to show her puppy fangs. As her brother stopped behind their mother Shade dropped to a crouch, ready to spring when their dam started moving again. Grudgingly, Shade hid her fangs and bounded out into the field of tall grass. The weeds reached up past her shoulder blades to tickle her nose, and the black pup tinted by gray sniffed and snorted at the dew that still clung to the green plants. Turning, she loped clumsily toward the edge of the clearing, hoping to escape her mother's watchful eyes and explore some more; but Shadow's repremanding vocals reached her attentive young ears, and Shade turned away, trotting toward Knox and leaping at him, taking out her anger on her older brother.[/size]
