Little Rico looked over to Eli and jumped off of his perch, which was a long way from the ground if you are a chihuahua. Landing nimbly on his tiny paws, he trotted over to the pup, giving looks of disgust to the females. Love 'em and hate 'em, he thought to himself, nudging the youngster out of the Lodge and into the sun. Once outside, he hopped onto a boulder and sat looking down at Eli. He thought, this is the first, and probably last time I will look down on this little guy. He won't be little for long.
Many Chihuahuas hated being small, but Rico had come to terms with it, realizing how irrisistably adorable he was, and without his small size, he was just another dog on the streets. He looked to the apprentice.
"Ey, stay away from females for as long as you can, kid. They're nothing but trouble, aiight?" He nodded solumnly to his words, gazing at the pup intently through deep chocolate brown eyes.

Eli gladly followed Rico from the lodge, happy to get away from the moody females. He looked up at Rico, the thought never crossing his mind that one day, he'd tower over the little dog and possibly even rival Darthyn in size. His pale green eyes were widened slightly as he listened to Rico and he nodded resolutely.
"No doubt, especially after what happened in there just now," he said, his voice cracking slightly, but not from being upset or afraid. He gave his floppy tail a wag and he jumped to his paws, randomly sniffing the ground around him and looking up at the clear blue sky and then back to Rico. "So what is there to do here while Darthyn's away?" he asked.

Rico hopped down from the flat-topped boulder and looked up at the puppu, who was rather large for his age in the first place. He was indeed going to be a giant. Rico smirked, eyeing those jade eyes intently.
"Well, you can go practeese your hunting skeells. I would love to see them, perrito." He nudged the pup toward the foliage, pushing his through a break in the bushes where a thin beaten path lay. It wound around through the forest, possibly leading to the neighborhoods. But they would save that field trip for another day. "Maybe," He said suggestively, though not in a flirtacious way, as they strolled along the path, "I can teach you some movesss."

"Really?" Eli said, once again feeling excitement swelling inside his chest. This would be his first experience with actual hunting instead of rummaging through human scraps for anything that could be considered edible.
He followed Rico, his eyes glued to the back of the little dog's head in case he might randomly begin to hunt. He knew that he needed to be alert and attempt to copy the chihuahua's moves carefully.

Her feet hit the floor softly, making little to no sound as she entered the domain. Her nose wrinkled in disgust almost as soon as she entered, though she fixed it immediately. Too many females in here…And way too much temper. She thought to herself as she moved over the floor. The two of her own sex in this room didn't seem particularly happy with each other, and she made a mental note of this. Her eyes swooped over the room, and though she made no physical change in her facial set, her eyes seemed a bit disappointed when she found it empty of the charming Chihuahua. Ah well, he'd be there later, she supposed.
"Hello." She said, her voice soft and whisper like, though some how louder. She refrained from sitting or laying or moving in any way to appear comfortable, preferring the standing position she now had. Little did anyone know, she was immensely comfortable as she was, standing and watching everyone else. She also preferred not to speak too much, and hoped the others would carry out most of the conversation, she had not spoken to another canine in so long. Unless of course, you counted her encounter with Rico.

Zodiac just turned and began to walk off. Darthyn was right. We were a pack. We shouldn't fight. He watched him leave and knew he need time alone. Then, she spotted a newly entered dog. Being nice, she walked over and sat down in front of the foreign. "Sorry about that. I tend to lose my temper sometimes....Anyways, My name is Zodiac, whats yours?
She smiled at her. She seems okay. Unlike unlike somebody... she thought to her self. She just waited for the female to reply and hoped that she would be nice. Maybe, they might become friends.

Ali sat around the corner of the building, listening to all their words. She smirked to herself. Pity. Most of them mongrels are pure bred. Everyone knows traditonal strays are mutts. She shook her head to herself, slightly disgusted.
Slowly she lifted her rump and padded inside. She walked around the few dogs in her way, and made herself comfortable on a loveseat towards the back of the room.
She thought back to the possesive female. "Don't tell her not to be possesive, I was picking up some vibes from Akira too." She said to the femme.
She knew they'd probably confront her because she hadn't yet joined the pack, but if that happened, she had a plan.

((Just pointing out a few things before I go to school, then I'll respond after. It was Ava that entered, not Lila who is a chihuahua. And Darthyn already left....Sorry if I sound overbearing....))

((lol, s'kay.))
Ava smiled at the femme, her tentative smile open to the others as well. She wasn't interested on making enemies in the pack, though it seemed this was what these two females had just done. She didn't see why either had chosen to fight with one another, both the black and the white female looked nice enough. Ava hadn't been here to hear what the fight had been about, though she made up her mind to ask later, when one of them wouldn't mind. The black one had come and sat down in front of her, and Ava remained standing, not particularly caring if it seemed a bit rude. She hadn't ever been comfortable lying down with other dogs in the room, it was another of her trust issues.
"Your better then me, Zodiac. No one ever knows when I'm mad, and then I can't hold it in, and bam, I'm in your face. It confuses others, at least you let people know when you are mad." She grinned as she spoke, looking down at the femme. "I'm Ava." She added it almost as an afterthought, mentally kicking herself for forgetting her own name. How stupid could you get? It just came from not introducing herself for so long, she'd forgotten that names were important.
One thing that didn't make her so nice though, was when one female came in, and Ava couldn't make out the recent smell of either of the two males that recruited. No, she hadn't been around Darthyn yet, but his smell was on this place so much that it almost reeked of it. Ava herself still had traces of her run in with Rico, present even on the one loner around. Her arrogance destroyed her in Ava's mind, marked her as one that most likely wouldn't be someone Ava would befriend. She couldn't say she was sorry about this. "Some wear kindness like their skins, I haven't met someone like that. Though it appears that others wear arrogance like their flesh." Her words were not directed at the female that had entered rudely, rather at Zodiac, as if Ava was ignoring the presence of the one not in. She was good at that, just had to pretend it was the old days, when she didn't speak to anyone.

Darthyn strolled back in, appearing from the confines of the deepening shadows like a ghost. The room simply reeked of estragen, and Darthyn wrinkled his nose. He'd need time to get used to this. He took a minute to analyze each and every scent in the room, but one in particular stood out. One that was unfamiliar. Once his eyes adjusted to the brightness, he noticed her right away. An intruder.
The large male leapt forth, breaking free from the secrets that lay beneath the dark shadows. Face-to-face with the female, he growled deeply, eyes like knives. He ignored the rest of his pack, and snarled again at the intruding dog. "Who are you?" He spat, his voice cold and condescending. This place was for friends and allies only. Not strangers.
Not exactly the welcome wagon.

Kipcha padded quietly into the lodge. There seemed to be plenty of wolves here, but she couldn't tell who was the alpha. She searched for a dog that seemed to fit Rico's description. Tall, strong, handsome, and a great leader. She looked around, trying to find someone who fitted that description.
There he was! A strange dog who looked half wolf, and who was snarling at some female wolf. Oh my...I hope he doesn't treat all femme's like that... she thought, padding into the room as quiet as she could to watch the show.
She sat by the leg of an old sofa, her brown orbs watching Darthyn.

Ava turned her head slowly, only slightly looking at the big commotion. Joy of all joys, it appeared the leader had zeroed in on what she herself at figured out. Ava didn’t have to really contemplate anything to figure out that the femme that had walked in wasn’t welcome, she was just glad she’d been accepted before ever poking her face in here. If it evoked the wrath of him…He didn’t look too friendly at the moment. Even if he hadn’t stormed in here like this, she would’ve recognized him as alpha. His scent matched with the little pickings that she had from the females that he’d accepted into the pack. His scent covered the room, there was no doubt that he was alpha. And yet, she was not intimidated. Surely, Ava should have been afraid, and she would have been had she any experience dealing with males. But she didn’t, and she was Ava.
The saluki turned her body to move in the direction her face pointed, each movement seeming to be made by a lazy dog. A dog comfortable and completely unafraid of what was going on. She even went as far as to lay down and place her cranium on her paws as she watched the scene unfold. What was wrong with this detached dog? Why didn’t she fear the dog that stormed in and growled at someone who had innocently poked her head in? Ok, so the female had more than poked her head in, and hadn’t done it innocently at all. But still, the point remained. The answer to this was simple, she didn’t care.
