The black and tan doberman walked silently, her nails clicking as she walked. She sought acceptance into the stray's pack today. It wasn't a last resort or a need. Falcon always did better when around others but she was one who could live on her own as well. She much preferred to be in a pack over being all alone. Her stub tail was held straight and her ears perked in alert. Her nose twitched as it brought in the new smells.
Her black coat shone and her dark eyes were filled with expressions. She wouldn't call herself nervous about all this but she was anxious. She wasn't a high profile bitch and didn't need watching over all hours of the day. She was easy going and although hyperactive, she was seemingly calm today. It was now or never and she wasn't going to make it never. She wasn't a kinda of beat-around-the-bush kind of bitch, she made her point and today she would either be accepted or declined.

The Lodge was quiet, and Darthyn lay sprawled out across his favorite sofa, his amber eyes closed, but the alpha was not asleep. His ears were pricked atop his large head, trained on the sound of footfalls in the forest. He had been listening to them for a while, and as they got louder, he began to realize that they were headed toward the Lodge. He opened one eyelid, blinking rapidly as a ray of sunshine splintered through a crack in the roof and shone right into his field of vision. He opened the other eye and sat up on the sofa, the rusty metal springs inside creaking in protest. The large gray dog stretched, his jaws parting in a yawn.
He slunk nimbly off the couch, his claws clicking on the wood floors as he landed. Shaking his head to rid himself of his tiredness, the alpha snorted and trotted toward the entrance. As he peered outside into the blinding sun, his eyes opened wide at the sight that met his amber gaze. Standing there in the clearing was a beautiful female Doberman Pincher, her silky black fur shining in the sun. His jaw almost fell at the mere sight of her. Realizing how silly he must look, and hoping she hadn't seen him yet, the alpha trotted out of the Lodge, his handsome features molded into a smile.
"Welcome to the Forest packlands."
