Sakura didn't have anyone to get food for her, seeing as Kavok was a pet. She didn't want to talk to him ever again. It would be to painful. He wouldn't be happy to see what had happened to her. He would probably end it between them. Kavok didn't want children, he just wanted a girl. A pretty girl like Sakura.
She had been wandering towards the dump. She was exhausted, heavily pregnant by now, but hunger drove her on. The short journey to the dump was enough to suck most of the energy she had out of her. Sakura was looking forward to the day she would have the pups, she couldn't handle this much longer.
She had been nibbling on some KFC leftovers when it happened. A conraction erupted in her lower abdomen. She sunk to the ground at once, pain flowing throught her body. But as suddenly as it came it went away. Sakura thought it was a trick of her mind. She thought it was, until it happened again. She knew wht was happning now. But she couldn't do it here! She needed to be in her nest. She rolled over onto her side, eyes shut tight. She shivered slightly as night was rawing close.
Her water had broken. She needed someone to find her. Someone kind. Anyone, someone to help her. She couldn't do this alone.

Kavok’s head was in a slump, in fact, damn near his whole body was. He’d travelled for days in search of the stray territory in order to make peace with the two mates he’d taken within two days of each other, and he’d ran scared back to the Urban setting he was so comfortable in. Breaths coming in gasps, he took a fresh gulp of the smoggy air, feet padding gently against the concrete. His mind was racing almost as fast as his feet as he considered his alternatives, and tried to justify his running away. That dog, Scandal, she’d reaffirmed his fears as well and probably thought of him as cruel. But he didn’t mean for any of this to happen, it was all a harmless accident. Something he’d just have to apologize for and move on from. Just one female pregnant would be different, but two?
He’d been resting, carrying on that casual conversation when not only word of mouth but the scents of pregnant females told him what he’d never expected. He had fathered two litters of puppies, both due very soon, and neither female had sought him out or been able to find him if they had. A pang of guilt shot through his stomach, he just wanted to get back to the precinct and rest in his old kennel. The humans were gone, but his kennel was still there in all of its original splendor: calm and inviting. Another flip of his stomach told him he was going to vomit if he didn’t hurry and get his mind off of these negative emotions and thoughts. Wheeling a sharp right, the black police dog shot through a hole in the fence of the Waste Management Center: it was a well-known shortcut to downtown.
Pacing through the mess and dirt, he tried to keep his mind off of the battle that had occurred here with the Doberman. His shoulder ached in memory where the fur was growing in patches and scars were zigzagging like streaks of lighting that decorated the skies that same day of the fight. He still walked with a limp, something must have gone wrong with the healing in his muscles, and it left him somewhat weak. He close his eyes are he walked through the trash, blocking out those horrid mental images when he picked up a scent. His mind must be playing tricks on him, for he thought he caught a whiff of Sakura. This was where they met afterall. He suddenly realized it was a real scent, a very real and distressed scent. The leather vest he had on squeaked as he leaned forward into a jog, following the scent to where he found the white dog.
In labor.

Sakura breathed deeply. She caught a familiar scent in her nostrils, but was to distressed to make out who it was. She would have to get back to the Nursery. It was stupid for her to come out here. She should have asked someone politly to get her some dinner. She shouldn't have done it alone. Sakura was very afraid that someone would find her that could take her life away. Her fears were extinguished when she saw Kavok there, standing in shock.
"Do ya..." she said, pausing to breathe evry few moments. "Do you see what you did?" Sakura leaned her head back and closed her eyes. At that moment a heavy raindrop landed on the tip of her nose. Many more followed, and soon it was downpooring right there. Perfect timing. It was happening now. Her life was changing forever.
Another contraction shook her body. Sakura didn't know the pain would be like this! She opened her eyes to find her long, white hair soping wet and sprawled around her. She looked up at Kvok. She didn't speak but the pain shown in her eyes. She needed the guy, even if he did not want to get involved.

Kavok’s legs quivered lightly as he watched the female fall into convulsions on the ground, eyes pleading for help but her voice accusing. It wasn’t only his fault, he told himself, it takes two to make a puppy. However, he lay on his belly before her and began speaking quietly and slowly… Trying to calm her as he’d seen his first human partner do with a pregnant human bitch. He could only hope that he was doing all of this right, and he knew the puppies were coming quickly, he had to do something… Anything… To help her, it was partially his fault after all. He continued his soothing words, not able to think of anything else helpful
-after pups-
Kavok watched the wriggling balls of matted fur fight to nurse at their mother and he whimpered, a pang going through his own stomach. Sakura, I didn’t mean for this to happen. He began, You don’t want me around as a father, trust me, its best if I’m not. I’m trying to change, I’m trying to be better, and when I fix myself I’ll come back to you. Here he swallowed heavily, I have another litter of pups on the way with the stray Ariana as well. I’m sorry.
His words were sincere, and his dark eyes begged forgiveness. Little did he know, his son would not understand nor forgive, regardless of his mother’s choice.
((no coding. Sorry))
