Looking around in the darkness, the American Bulldog slowly got up, nudging a small, sleeping shape beside her. The shape let out a high pitched, soft whine, but got up wearily. The bigger shape snorted, but liked the small one’s head, before taking his scruff up in her mouth. Slowly, she picked her way through the several other sleeping shapes, taking care not to step on the other sleeping shape. She had let the two of them decide if they wanted to go, and only the one in her mouth, who was very close to his mother, said he wanted to go. Within a few moments she had managed to get out of the nursery, and stood a few fox lengths away from the entrance, letting her eyes adjust to the moonlit scene. Her white and brindle pelt seemed to glow slightly in the light, as the tan, black, and white pup in her jaws began to move about, struggling slightly. She let him down gently, and he shook himself, letting out a small pup yawn as he stretched.
The fae was Kitty, and the pup, her pup, was Adonis. Kitty had finally decided, after many weeks of thinking, that it was best for her if she left the pack. She has to wait a bit, however, until she had weaned her pups, which by now she had. She had asked them the week before if they wanted to accompany her, or rather she asked Adonis. Edge would be so much better in the pack, he was bound to be a great warrior. But Adonis, who would most likely make a good warrior too, was much more attached to his mother. So, obviously, he had excepted her offer to come, and here they were. It wasn’t that Kitty had anything against the pack, but rather the fact that she was a wanderer, and she had felt so smothered by being tied down to the pack. Sure, she felt a bit guilty, but she couldn’t take it anymore. She wouldn’t whine and complain about it to anyone else, but rather slip away quietly. She highly doubted they would search or her. And if anyone missed her, they would likely soon get over it soon enough and every one could get on with their lives. She wasn’t one who liked to have others fuss over her anyways.
Nudging Adonis’s side lightly with her short snout, he began to move, and she walked behind him, towards to forest. Her plan was to get out of the pack territory as quick as possible and make her way to possibly Creekside Way. Once they got there, Adonis could rest and they could both refresh. From there, she didn’t know what they would do, but hopefully she’d figure it out soon. Snapping out of her little though bubble, she realized that they had gotten to the edge of the packs territory. Looking down to make sure Adonis was still with her, she was happy to see him awake, his little tail wagging. “How much more?” he asked, his head cocked to the side.
She was silent for a moment before she finally answered. “Just a bit longer.” She promised, glad that it was actually a true statement.
He nodded, though didn’t move. He had remembered that his mother had told him not to move unless she told him so, at least until they reached Creekside Way. His mother had given him a little bit of information yesterday, as long as a few rules. He knew if was for his safety, so he didn’t bother arguing or anything, not that he liked to particularly.
With half an hour, the two had finally made it to Creekside Way, where Adonis promptly flopped down after taking a few laps of water. Kitty gave him a like on the shoulder and she sat down. He lay between her front legs, his head pressed against her left paw. She sighed, looked around, glad to see nothing lurking in the shadows. She sat there, not sleeping, but planning.
[Occ: It begins it the pack territory, but ends here, so I figured I might as well post it here.]

The night was young when the doberman started traveling. With an undetermined destination in mind, Falcon had no idea where she would end up or when. Her tan tipped toes hit the ground with a near silent padding as she trotted through the forest. The forest was much darker than the outside as the trees blocked all moonlight from showing through but her eyes worked well in the darkness that surrounded her.
Her small stub tail stuck up at her back end and her cropped ears pointed straight with anticipation of noise. The night seemed unmoving yet Falcon was aware of the night stalkers. She was not afraid of being attacked as she had spent many nights in this forest without any disturbance. As the trees parted and moonlight could be seen again, Falcon knew she had made it through the forest once again.
She stopped trotting as she left the forest and stuck her nose straight up in the air testing for scents. Nothing fresh came to so the sleek bodied dog moved on. Her close fitting pelt outlined the muscles surrounding her shoulders, hips, and chest and the black pelt of hers seemed to reflect the moonlight off of her. She was not trotting again but walking. She knew that creekside was just ahead.
The sound of moving water caught her ears before her eyes caught it. She had begun trotting again, the elastic gate was not fast nor slow. As the sound of water became stronger, she picked up another scent. Falcon nearly stopped dead in her tracks for the last thing she was expecting was to meet another dog at this hour. She would have stopped nicely except for the fact that her front feet stopped and her back didn't. Her back end lifted up in the air for a moment before settling back down on ground once again.
Falcon sniffed the air again making sure she was not mistaken, and she was not. The scent of another dog touched her nose again but this time she caught an underlying scent much less strong. A pup? Falcon knew how mothers acted especially when protecting young. But of course, the curious nature of the black and tan doberman got the better of her. She did not trot but she walked slowly.
The wind was blowing lightly and Falcon knew that the dogs at the creek would most likely have her scent long before she found them. She was a Femme and had no intention of harming either of the dogs. She wouldn't turn around now for one of two things kept her going. One, she needed a drink, and two, she was curious. Her curiosity often got her into some troubling spots and she hoped tonight wouldn't be one such a night.
As she approached the creek a white body became apparent. The white seemed to stick out in the darkness of night. Falcon wasn't one for confrontations, especially after her nose had been proved right at the sight of a puppy lying between the bulldogs paws. Falcon didn't stay close to the pair but a few yards up the creek. She dipped her muzzle in the water and drank deeply. She kept a watch on the pair out of the corner of her eye, the last thing she wanted was a sneak attack.

Kitty heaved a sigh, still failing to come up with a good plan. Sure, she had come up with tones were okay for her, but she needed one that would work with Adonis. He wasn’t weak, but he was a pup, and that meant he couldn’t travel all that far. She looked down at her pup, hearing him stir. She gave him a sniff to make sure that every thing was alright, and found it to be so. She let the tip on her nose rest on the top of his head, though only a few moments later his head shot up, lightly smacking her in the nose. Her lip twitched, but she merely gave him a swift lick, glad to see that he was up. The pup jumped up to his feet, getting out from between his mother’s paw backwards, rump up in the air. Adonis let out a playful yip, only to be met but a patient snort from him mother. He shrugged, spinning around, chasing after the furry thing that was his tail. He grew dizzy quickly, and had to stop after he almost tumbled into the creek. He looked around, trying to find something to play with. He had so far failed until something hit his scent glands- another dog! He looked about, snout up in the air, trying to pinpoint the source of the smell. After a few moments, he found the femme, and promptly bounded over to her, once again resuming his playful stance. He didn’t care that he didn’t know her, all he knew was that she might be fun to play with.
Kitty watched the pup, chuckling at his playful antics. He seemed to be taking the move rather well, which was certainly a good thing. It wouldn’t do much good to have a sad puppy with her. However, she became alarmed when he pranced over to a, until now, unseen shape. Noticing the femme was a Doberman, she jumped up, swiftly gliding over to Adonis, standing over him. She didn’t judge dogs by their breed normally, but she had never had the best of experiences when it came to Dobermans. She began to growl, just a warning, teeth bared, starring daggers at the femme. She wasn’t always like this, but when it came to her pup, just like any mother, she would kill for him.
Adonis looked up at his mother, disappointed that she was being mean to his new friend. “Why are you growling? She didn’t do anything?” he said, sitting down, brow furrowed. He looked from one fae to the other, before getting up again, still in the middle of both of them. He just stood there, unsure of what to do. He didn’t want to be mean to his friend, but he also didn’t want to disobey his mother. He sighed, sitting back down, looking at the ground.
Kitty stared at the Doberman, before quickly bending down, grabbing Adonis by the scruff, dropping his lightly at her feet. Looking back up at the Doberman, she was quite surprised that she hadn’t been attacked yet. The femme looked young, so perhaps she was merely curious, but she still couldn’t take any changes. “Who are you?” she growled, though she wasn’t looking as fierce anymore.

Falcon lifted her dripping muzzle from the small creek as the small puppy ran up to her. The sight of a small pup made her heart twist and bittersweet memories came to her mind. Memories of her mother came to her mind for some reason. Falcon sniffed the pup as he bent down in a playful stance. Falcon had no intention on harming the small pup, but his mother didn't know her intentions.
And sure enough, the mother came over in a rush, growling. Falcon backed up a step as she took her young in her mouth. The pup sat pathetically like he was torn between playing and obeying. When he spoke, Falcon couldn't help but adore him. He did not yet understand the danger one could put on him, and his mother was just protecting him as any would.
The bulldog's growl took her attention off the pup. She did not look furious or fierce anymore as she had at first so Falcon did not expect there to be any kind of confrontation. Yet. Falcon sat on her bottom as the mother requested her information. Falcon came with no harm intended for either. "Falcon" She said smoothly, calmly. "I mean no harm to you nor your pup. He is quite adorable"
Falcon was hoping to not be attacked for she did not enjoy fighting, nor harming others unless absolutely needed. She flicked her glance over to the pup who sat patiently, looking quite confused. Her glance over didn't last long for she didn't want to keep her eyes wandering to long in fear of some kind of attack from the mother.

Her growling seized, and she let Adonis go. The dog seemed trustworthy enough, so she might as well make a friend. As soon as he was let down, Adonis bounded over to his new friend, batting at her paw playfully. “Let’s play!” he whimpered, rump once again up in the air.
Kitty watched the two, curious as to what Falcon would do. “And where are you from, Falcon?” she asked, a bit kinder, though she was still watching her. “Be nice, Adonis.” She reminded him. The pup nodded before continuing to jump about, trying to get the bigger dog to play. She wasn’t all that great for socializing, so of course she was having a hard time. But if she got a friend out of it, it was worth it.
She didn’t particularly hate other dogs; it was just that she had learned from experience to be weary. Some were very good at being fake and could get you to trust them before tearing you down. She had Adonis with her now, which made it even more important to be on her guard.

Falcon was amused by the pup and his antics to play. Following him like a mirror, Falcon went down into a playful stance, her back end sticking up in the air. Her stump of a tail went back and forth. Usually when Falcon played she made the first move but this pup was a lot smaller than most dogs she found herself playing with and was being careful.
The pup, Adonis as she now knew, was obviously one that loved to play, someone that loved others. Yet Falcon could clearly tell that his mother was weary of her, weary of others. She didn't know if it was because she had a pup with her if it was just how the femme was. Falcon looked up at the mother as she spoke.
"All over" Falcon spoke, keeping her playful eyes on the pup "I've always lived here in Harlow, at first a pampered pet." Falcon nearly shuddered at the last few years with them "I came to the streets after my third birthday. My heart belongs to the streets" She wrapped it up as simply as she could. She did not wish to be under the hand of another human again.
It must be pretty obvious I've been owner Falcon thought My ears and tail have been professionally cut and cropped. Falcon pulled her thoughts back to reality and lowered her back end to the ground and crawled forward slightly towards the pup. Tossing her head playfully she batted at the pup, clearly a playful move as she could not have possibly hit him without moving forward some more. [/size]
