Shyamide's pale, lithe body padded slowly towards the lodge, each petite paw taking one silent step infront of the other. In the glorious morning sone, her creamy pelt had a slightly silver sheen to it, giving her the effect of a moonbeam in canine form. She walked along confidently; not in a manner that was too proud, but in a manner that suggested she knew she was an attractive femme.
As she reached the open doorway of the tarnished lodge, she paused for thought. Should she go in, or wait outside and bark for attention? She didn't want to seem too pushy, not if she didn't know what the Alpha of these parts was like... He could take offence. So, instead, she raised her head a little and opened her silky maw, revealing pearly canines and a pink tongue.
"Anyone around? I'm hoping for the Alpha..." She barked.

Darthyn padded slowly through the Lodge, ears flattened against his skull. With the number of enemies growing each day, he'd need more allies than ever. He grumbled wearily, lifting his head to see the bright figure of a dog standing in the doorway. It was dark in the Lodge, but her coat stood out so brilliantly that it seemed to blind the male's amber gaze. He decided not to go for an agressive approach with this one. Afterall, he was worn out from Zodiac's initiation, and his paw still pained him slightly. He was glad the skin hadn't been torn. She mioght have had rabies or something.
"I'm here." Came his deepy, gravelly voice, worn from all his snarling and growling earlier that day. He stepped out into the light, his pupils retracting to tiny pinpricks in response to the brightness. In the sun's intense rays, each hair on his body was illuminated, and the tiny folicles of dirt could be discerned, making it obvious that he was much lighter than he appeared. When clean, of course. He held his head high, his tail erect behind him like a banner. "They call me Darthyn. And you?" He did not hide the fact that he thought her pretty, and his eyes wandered over her flawless visage, down across her neck and over her finely toned body. A sly smile crept onto his handsome face, but he scolwed immediately and sat down on the wooden floor.

Shyamide's ears flattened slightly as she heard Darthyn's gravelly, rather fierce sounding voice. Hoping he wasn't the ferocious type who hated femmes, she blinked warily. Although the creamy-pale fae was a German Shepherd, she was fairly small for her breed; possibly another reason why her parent's owners had thrown her out of the litter into the streets. Still, thanks to them, she had learnt to defend herself.
Shyamide followed the sound of Darthyn's footsteps, preparing herself to show some submission upon his arrival. Usually, she'd bow to no-one, but she knew that some form of respect was necessary if she wanted to join the pack. As Darthyn stood against the doorway, Shyamide couldn't help but smile at his rugged but rather attractive appearance. She smirked prettily at him, but lowered her tail and her stance to show some submission.
"The name is Shyamide," She replied, her voice silky. "And i'm here to join your pack, if you'll have me."

Darthyn flashed a fleeting smile at the femme, his thoughts obviously elsewhere. He nodded to her words, giving a slight pause before he began again to speak.
"Well met. And I must know, truthfully, are you a skilled fighter? Can you hunt, swim, and defend yourself?" He smirked. How could a dog that looked so much like a pure-bred powder-puff be a talented street dog, like himself? Her blood seemed pure, but the blood that coursed through Darthyn's veins was mixed and muddy, and had unknown origins. He suspected he was part wolf, part German Shepherd, part Bernese Mountain Dog, and part Husky, but he could be wrong. No one knew really. He shrugged, waiting for her answer. "If you can, and you are telling me the honest truth, then you will be accepted into my pack," he paused, eyeing her with his intense gaze, "and my trust."
No one wanted to be on the wrong side of Darthyn's trust. It was not a fun place to be, afterall.

"I can defend myself better than most dogs in this town," Shyamide replied confidently. She wasn't boasting but she was proud of the way she could fight, especially for a thoroughbred femme. In fact, that's what gave her the edge. Most of those who tried to attack her, on the basis that she was a pet, a toy for humans to care for, ended up with more than they bargained for.
"Swimming..."She wrinkled her nose to show that she'd do it if she had to, but she wasn't too keen on getting wet. "As for hunting, just try me. I can live up to any standards you set. I'll be a good asset to your pack." She smirked once more, her tail wagging a little, impatient to finally be in a pack. She'd known it'd be hard getting in, so she'd prepared herself. She'd been preparing all her life, ever since she was thrown out into a mangy back alley at a tender age. Whether Darthyn took her word for it or not, was another matter.

Darthyn simply nodded. She gave the appearence of a very strong dog, so naturally, he believed her. That, and, she was very beautiful. He smiled wearily and turned, pivoting on his hind feet. "Alright," he stated tiredly. "Welcome to the pack, Shyamide."
He almost whispered the last part as he slipped slowly dark into the darkness. He was done for the day. Well, at least until after he had a nap.

Shyamide barked her thanks, and then watched him slip away into the darkness. Her eyes watched his well-built body as he went, noting the unusual colour of his fur. She'd have to try and work some of her charm on him next time their paths crossed... Afterall, Shyamide always wanted her own way. But for now, it was time to meet other members of the pack. She stepped through the doorway lightly, shutting out her previous, more lonely life.
ooc; Thread finished.
