Marla panted, and sat down, needing a break. She’d been traveling for several days. ‘At least I’ll be in the territory soon’ she thought optimistically to herself. She sat there in the shade for a few more minutes, planning out what she would say. “Hello, I was wondering is I could maybe join... No No. That sounds stupid. My name is Marla and I am here on a request to joining. No, that’s rubbish too. Hi, I’m Marla. I’d love to join the clan, if you approve. There! That’s it.” She muttered to herself.
About 10 minutes later the small Chihuahua got up, stretched quickly, and continued her journey. Not long after that, she began to smell the smell that she supposed was the packs. She quickly groomed her short fur and entered the territory. She stood near a tree, which she supposed was near the alpha’s den. Then, she spotted a Chihuahua {Rico} and slowly walked over to him. . “Hello. My name’s Marla. I’m interested in… joining. Could I possibly speak to the alpha?” she said, waiting for his reply

Rico was always thrilled when a new dog stumbled into the territory, well when they were friendly at least. He wasn’t too confrontational, but rarely was he ever threatened. He was a trusted colleague of Darthyn, the Alpha of the Pack, and he supposed that had a bit to play in how the other strays viewed him. Oh, well, who gave a hind leg? He loved it here! Now, about that new dog... A small, long-haired Chihuahua, about his size and just as attractive, was walking his way. He raised himself up from his place on a small patch of dirt (his patch of dirt, mind you.), large eyes glittering. This was what he loved about being Darthyn’s second-hand dog: accepting all of the beautiful lady strays into the pack. Licking the back of his paw to smooth down the fur on his ears, a signature move that signaled flirting was soon at hand, he stood and walked over to her.
Always the Latino Romeo, Rico was a suave little guy. Charming? Yes. Elegant? As much as a stray could be. Confident? Most definitely. He walked with his slightly curled tail wagging, red and white fur on his ears flying behind him like a proud banner. He approached her quickly, stopping some distance away to look aggressive and imposing before yipping to her.
What business have you here, senorita? Even when trying to be stern, his thick accent caused the conversation to immediately have the feel of a romantic comedy or an action show where the man says ‘come with me if you want to live’. But nope, here stood a Chihuahua saying it. Oh, the irony. His tail wagged slightly to the side as he looked the pretty female over, but he quickly cleared his throat and forced the wagging to stop.
He had to look imposing afterall.

Marla looked at the dog as he spoke. Almost instantly her nervousness vanished. He was really handsome and attractive. Not to mention her size, and charming. Her tail wagged slightly, his accent making her near to giddy. "I'd like to join the pack. I hate being alone and I like helping others. I think I'd make a good addittion."
{OCC Ew. Sort post on my part}

The little Chihuahua bitch relaxed almost as soon as Rico presented himself before her. she might be relieved, but he was pretty upset that he hadn’t struck fear and awe into her. Oh, look now, her tail is even wagging! That is just ‘peachy’. He’d picked up that word from a little housedog one night on the streets outside of a human’s taco place. He wasn’t sure what the word meant, but it had an amusing ring to it and he guessed it was some American term. Regardless he was going to use it, he liked new words. ¡Cómo es maravilloso! ¡Recepción! Welcome, welcome, senorita.
His tail began wagging so fiercly that his backside slid with it. Rico had this horrible complex, he thought he was as intimidating as a pit bull, but in fact was just a small chihuahua, which was a pity for the little guy. As quickly as he realized the ease at which he'd accepted her he straightened up once and again and barked at her, A good addition? Well, that is for Darthyn to choose. I suppose for now, you are in the pack... But watch yourself.
His eyes were overly wide, as if he was attempting some sort of 'crazy eye' expression. Inside he was rolling on the ground with laughter, but on the outside he was a warrior. Yes, a warrior. A furry, Latino Romeo warrior.
((Thanks, Maybe, I’m trying really hard to get into his character. So it’s a little rough. He’s the first and only small dog I’ve ever played o.o))

Her tail began to wag furiously, until he said she needed to watch herself. The wagging abruptly stopped and she looked at him, head tilted, brow furrowed. What did he mean? Were they going to attack her or something? “A-are you planning to eat me?” She asked, her voice shaking slightly. It kind of sounded like they were!
She sat down, looking over her shoulder as if she expected a group of dogs to be there, teeth bared, prepared to pounce. She looked back at him, her eyes showing her worry. “Sorry, that was a dumb question. So…how long have you been in the pack?” She asked, hoping she didn’t seem like an idiot. That, sadly, had been the only thing she could think of to say.
