Confusion, the Worlds Language

Siva bounded in, twirled in a circle, and then froze. She giggled and turned her head this way and that, then chased her tail around for a solid minute. Falling to the ground in a heap, she laughed loudly and looked up at the sky. It was morning and there was a lot to do. Her parents had died recently, and that was one of the things that saddened her, but she knew that they wouldn't want her to stay sad. They had always loved her passion for life, her easy going attitude, and the easy way she loved. They had encouraged her and never kept secrets for her. A few days before they'd left her for good, they'd told her that if they ever left her, she needed to find someone to teach her how to survive. They never wanted her to be unprepared. She rolled over, batting her little paws at the sky in boredom. Should she call out? Should she wait patiently. She snorted at herself, she had the patience of a…of a…Oh crude she couldn't think what she had the patience of. Well, who cared? It didn't matter, she had no patience and that was that. She got up and pranced about for a little bit, then she sat down and huffed. Where was everyone?

Lifting her little snout to the sky she let out one long, mournful note. Calling out to anyone around to here her, the little puppy cried out for someone to come help her out. She didn't know what to do. Siv never knew what to do about anything, she was a lost soul in this big world and she needed someone to help her. She needed someone and she wasn't afraid of that.

Sakura hadn't had much to do latley. she had just really been eating, drinking, and lying around. She was still deciding whether or not to join the stray pack. It would be cool to be in one, but she didn't know if her parent's would have wanted that. And she was more or less looking for a friend. Someone to just hang around with, to have some company. Then she stumble upon Siva. The little of pup looked like a bundle of fun, and lonley, so Sakura decided to introduce herself.

"Why hello there little one. My name's Sakura, where's your Momma?" she asked sweetly, trying to win the pup over. What if the pup didn't have one? And she burst into tears right on the spot? Oh she hoped she had said the right thing. Sakura sat down and made herself look as least-threatening as possible, not to scare the pup.

Siva's eyes widened when she saw the big white female come towards her. A grin started on her face, a devious one at that. She bounded forward and jumped on the female. "Hi, hi! I'm Sivamet, where are you from? Are you in this pack thing? How are you? Are you nice? HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!" Her greeting was a little over the top, but that was just Sivamet's style. She never waited to see if someone was acceptable towards her energy. "I don't have a momma, she died with daddy a few days ago. But that's ok cause they didn't want me to be sad. Do you still have a momma? Is she nice? Did she tell you the truth about things? Will you tell me the truth? Cause momma and daddy says nothings worse than being left in the dark." She told her, a serious look on her face. She sniffed around the bigger dog, attempting to clamber onto her back and failing.

She growled a bit, a pitiful sound in the back of the little pups throat. She backed up and ran at the bigger dog, taking a flying leap at the dog. She managed to get on and started sticking her cold nose around the dogs neck, then her ears, then she propped herself up on the dogs head. Her two little legs were between her ears and she was standing up big and tall. "I'M QUEEN OF THE WORLD!" She screeched, laughing as she did so.

He had been sitting in the bushes for a while now. He had originally gone in there following a mouse, but it had gotten away. Now he sat patiently, watching the pup and the newcomer, an amused grin on his face.

Stepping out into the open, he smiled casually and sat down a ways away from the group, deciding against a hostile approach for the pup's sake. He didn't want to scare her, although it seemed quite impossible.

"Hello you two, I presume you're looking to join?" He tilted his head, his amber eyes agleam with amusement. "You must be, or else you wouldn't be trespassing." His tone was light and playful, and his tail wagged slowly on the earth, scattering loose dust, which collected on his gray fur.

[Malfunction]

As soon as she heard the male she swung her tiny little head in his direction, huge eyes widening even more when she saw the brute. She hopped off her new jungle gym friend, and when I say this I mean she jumped over her friends head, and bolted straight for the new dog. She ran straight into him and then tumbled over onto her little bag. "OOF!" She snapped, blinking and then rolling over so she could stand up again. Sivamet started climbing around him, sniffing here and there, poking her nose in this area and then tumbling over that one. She made an attempt to climb on him, but that failed. "Like, of course we are, cause as you said, why else would we come here? Other than to meet new people, cause I've already met two new people and I sure hope you're as fun as she is, boy it would be no fun if you're dull. Are you boring? It's ok, you can tell me if you are, you know. You look like you might be a little too serious, but must grown ups do. That is soooooooooo annoying. Why would you want to be all serious when you could play?" She finished her little speech by tilting her head and blinking innocently up at him. True, she did ramble on, but she didn't really care.

Stunned, Darthyn could only watch with his jaws hanging open as the little rocket of a puppy clmbered over him, sniffing and pawing at him all the while. He lifted a brow and looked expectantly at her more mature companion, wondering if she was her mother. The two didn't look alike, but hey, the pup could be a mutt, like himself. After a few moments of silence, Darthyn forced himself to say something.

"Little one, a leader must be grown up and stern, and yes, sometimes that means being a little bit boring, but trust me, I can play a mean game of tug-of-war." He chuckled slightly, staring at the pup warmly through his amber eyes. She reminded him of himself when he was a pup. "So, you'd both like to join, then?"

[Malfunction]

She pouted for a second, furrowing her brow and obviously contemplating something. "Why are you so big? I can climb on her but not you, cause you're too big! That's not fair, how come you're bigger than both of us?" She asked, walking around him and sniffing and such. She backed up a bit and took a running leap at the big male, only to slam into his rib cage and fall over again. "Ow ow ow ow ow owwwwwww!" Sivamet shrieked, wrinkling her nose as she did so. That had hurt. She hadn't been expecting that, though she probably should have. Any other dog would have realized that running and jumping at a male at least two times your size would end up hurting you. But not Sivamet. Oh no, she had a philosophy of sorts. Do now, think later. True, it usually got her in a bit of trouble, but she always had fun doing it.

She frowned at him, shaking her little head and rolling over to stand up yet again. "Then I never want to be a leader. That couldn't be any fun at all. Having to be serious and uptight? And having no fun?" She looked at him in disbelief, wondering how he could stand to do that. Then she fell into a suspicious stance, looking at him with eyes that said 'are you serious?'. "You…play? Tug-of-war?" She asked, pausing between play and tug-of-war. She turned and looked at the other female that was near, tilting her head.

Sakura laughed louly as Siva climbed onto her head. Siva wasn't all that heavy, so Sakura could hold her head up high with her on top. She shook her fur when Siva got off. She watched her run into the male, obviously a leader of some sort, and smiled. The little pup w so cute! She wished for some of her own. Maybe she would gt her wish granted from Kavok, or someone else in Harlow. She hope so.

When Siva dove into Darthyn's side, she gasped. What was the little pup thinking? SHe must be crazy. "Yes, I was hoping to join. This i my little friend Siva, we just met." Sakura said, grinning up at the large male. he eemd nice, he would make a good friend. "I'll do anything for the pack. Even lay my life on the line." she added.

"Well then," The alpha said resolutely, watching the two dogs intently. "You're both in the pack." At this, he began to explain where everything was and how to act. After he had finished, he nodded slightly and with a small smile, walked off into the trees.
