Today was a particularly boring day. Nothing much was going on in Harlow. It was late afternoon and the sun was beating down on everything. Walking on the sidewalks where like sitting on a hot frying pan. It was the kind of day no stray could enjoy. And the worst part was that the only shade was in the dog park. Brullen would have to go watch the snotty house dogs strut and play fetch. But that was the sacrifice she’d have to make to stay cool.
So reluctantly and with self loath she made her way to the park. She stuck her nose in a few trash cans on the way just to see if there was anything worth any trouble. Finally she made to the park, Brullen had her mind set on the biggest oak tree in the park and nothing was going to her in her way. The tree came into sight but wait… there was some one under it already.
Brullen started to run at full speed toward the dog under her tree. “Umm... Excuse me but you are sitting under my tree.” She said to the other dog.

Akane was having a terrible day. It was scorching hot and she wanted nothing more then to just sit in her room and watch animal planet for the day but her owner had something else in mind. Akane was just laying on her bed resting when her owner walked in,She wanted to reward Akane for doing such a great job at the show yesterday by taking her to the dog park. If she really wanted to reward me she would let me just sit here and relax in the comfort of my home instead of taking me to a dog park when it's a 100 degrees outside.
When Akane got to the dog park her owner walked towards a friend of hers to visit while Akane was forced to find her own place of comfort. Akane stuck her nose up and walked slowly and elegantly to the only nice,shady spot in the park,a huge oak tree that was placed perfectly near the edge of the park where no one would bother her,or so she thought.
Akane had been laying watching the other dogs and there owners when she saw a very dirty,disgusting dog,obviously a stray,walk in. At first she payed her no mind until she noticed she was coming straight towards her.Great,I have to share the tree with this disgusting stray.[/i] When the stray asked Akane why she was under her tree she raised her nose even higher towards the sky then she normally did. "This isn't your tree stray and you don't even come close to deserving anything around her to yourself. So I will not move and you mine as well not even come here and think that you will get even an ounce of respect from anyone. Now go do whatever it is your kind does and stop talking to me before the others get the idea that I actually think your good enough to be talking to me."

Brullen took a good look at the apparent house dog. Oh great just what I need on a day like this Brullen though. “Look do you sleep here at night? I think I already know the answer to that. It would be a no… wouldn’t it. Do you know who sleeps here at night?” Brullen said, to the house dog, making sure she could see her long sharp teeth. “Me that’s who, me and all the other strays. So why don’t you just go back to your air conditioned home and leave the trees for the strays?” Brullen hoped this would be enough for the snotty house dog to go away.

Ugh,could this day get any worse? thought Akane.. "I would love to go home and just lay on my bed and relax all day but my owner thinks she's actually rewarding by taking me here. Either way I could care less about how you feel or what you think about me being here but I'm not moving. Now you can lay under this tree or you can go back to you Dumpster and rest. It's your choice." Akane tried to look as uninterested in the stray as possible hoping that she would just make her choice and leave her alone.

“Ha ha ha “Brullen said with a serious face. “Dumpster… you know that’s funny, and do you know what else is funny? You. Do you know why?” She didn’t even wait for a response she knew this type of dog spiteful and stuck up. This dog would probably say something stupid and try to make it sound like she knew what she was talking about. Brellen was now only about two inches from this dogs face. “Because I don’t like funny stuck up dogs like yourself. Now you can either go back to your owner or go missing. Your choice.” She said in a low growl.

Akane still not even looking at the stray just carried a spiteful grin. After the stray had finished talking Akane then turned and looked dead into her eyes. "You don't scare me stray. Do you see all these people here. They all know who I am and do you see her over there? That's my owner, you attack me and the fight won't even last 5 seconds before your put down. So go ahead,attack me. You'll be doing the rest of us a favor. " Akane was ready for her to attack because even though it may seem like she can't put up a fight but she was in shape and ready if the stray attacked. Even if the stray was stronger she knew that what she said had been true. She wouldn't have to hold her off long before the animal control would get to her.

Brullen backed down a little but not enough to stop looking like a threat. She mulled over the idea of being put down because of this stupid fuzz ball. “If your not afraid of me than why hid be hind animal control?” she said in a calmer voice now sitting in front of the house dog with one eyebrow raised."Are you afraid to chip a nail? Or is it that you don’t want to get that close to me because a flee might jump on you?”

Akane felt a little relieved that the stray wasn't acting like she was going to attack anymore. She really didn't want any trouble,she just wanted to relax under the tree until it was time for her to return home whether the stray was there with her or not. "The only thing I'm afraid of is that you'll ruin my good reputation and I would have to waste my time earning it back." Akane just looked at the stray, not looking at her the way she was when they first met but not looking like she wanted a fight either. She just looked at her and talked,something that she almost never did,especially with a stray. It was now that she noticed that a lot of the other dogs were staring,intrigued by the conversation. "Look, I'm probably leaving soon anyway so why don't you just lay in the shade with me until I leave?" Akane hoped that the stray would take the bait and that it would be the end of their fight.
