Lex heaved a sigh of relief, as she sat down. Her bulk was weighing her down, yet still that stupid human pestered her to play fetch. The human boy was young, and obviously thick. She was a pure-bred, pregnant corgie, she didn't play, she rested! She ate fancy meals, and she lazed in her mini-house all day.
She watched un-interestedly as the thicko threw the flying-disc-thing once again. He patted his knee's and said, 'Fetch! F-E-T-C-H!' he sounded it out happily. No, N-O! she sounded out, watching him expectantly. When she saw he was doing nothing, she turned and padded away, leaving the boy's grin to fade, as he stomped off to fetch the frisbee himself.
She shuddered, it was so tacky here! Why they insisted on bringing her here she would never know! The dogs here were dirty, and they were all playing fetch! Urgh...How weird. she thought.

Cupid walked proudly next to his owner through the park. He didn't need the leash, he was trained. His head was held high, his eyes closed. His owner laid out a checkered pick-nick blanket. She laid sat on it and Cupid curled up infront of her. His owner began to pet him, but he soon got up and walked to the corgie.
"Hey, names' Cupid. What's yours?" he asked impatiently. Cupid's coat was neatly groomed and it was very sleek. It refleckted the sun brightly.

Lex snorted arrogantly, and turned away from the chiwawa(sp?). Pest. she thought. She watched him expectantly, and after that was all he said, she snorted again, and looked away. 'Lex.' she answered proudly. She turned her back on Cupid, and watched her owner. He had found another human, and they were playing some sort of chase game, but they used their hands...And when one chased, and touched theother with their hand and cried "tig" it was the other one's turn to chase.
'Pathetic.' she mumbled, and turned back to Cupid, decided he was a little more interesting than her human.

The Great Dane mix was walking through the park, watching the house dogs. Pathetic. Who would want to be a house dog? he thought. He lifted his brown and black head to look around. He spotted a few dogs. I guess talking to them is better then nobody....
Dagger walked over there, his heavy paws hitting the ground. His whole body was relax. Once he got over there, he barked, "Hey, what'cha up to?" the stray said to the female.

Lex turned her head at a new voice, For goodness sake, another mutt?! she snorted, looking him up and down unimpressed. She wrinkled her face up in disgust, 'Hi...' she said slowly, staring at him like he was an animal locked up in a zoo, or should be.
She snorted once more and turned away, her nose in the air arrogantly. 'You may leave now.' she told him.

Why again did i talk to her? He thought. Dagger tried not to think about what she said. "Thats no way to talk, little gal." he smirked to her. Dagger sat down and licked his jaws.
He watched her, waiting for her reply. "No, I think i will stay here for a while." Dagger didn't like rude dogs or house dogs. And this girl, was both.

Lex narrowed her eyes and turned around, 'It wasn't an option.' she growled. She raised her maw aloof, showing him who was the superior one here. She grunted, 'But seeing as you can't seem to shift that far backside of yours, you'll have to stay and bask in my glory.' she said, no meaning any of it to be sarcastic of 'jokey'.
She knew she was the best, she was pure-bred corgi with MORE pure-bred corgi's on the way! Could her image get any better?

Dagger just looked at her. "Hey little lady, I already told you. You should be nice.......And think about it, you have no chance around me. You, a house dog, a corgi at that. A pregnant corgi at that. Then, you have me, a stray, male Great Dane mix. Just think about it for a moment.... he barked almost harshly at the corgi. He wasn't happy. He was nothing but nice to the house rat, and this is what he gets?

Lex looked a little shocked, if not disgusted. 'You wouldn't dare hurt a pregnant wolf,' she said, trying to reassure herself, but backed away a little bit, afraid for her babies' lives. She paused.
'Sorry,' she murmered moodily. It was all these hormones, she never usually snapped, especially not at her owner, she loved him dearly...
