Samantha Lovesick;; So what if I base my whole life off of finding that one?
"Romeo, Romeo.. wherefore art thou Romeo?" The wistful singsong voice of Juliet filled the darkened living room of the condo. It was one of Rose's favorite love films, if not the favorite. Samantha more favored Must Love Dogs for obvious reasons. The Newfoundlands dark chocolate chest swelled as a rather large sum of air infiltrated her lungs, only soon to deflate after in a yearnful sigh. She wanted love more then anything on this planet, yet, she had yet to even meet a male. As if sensing her despair, Rose, her owner, leaned over her larger chassis, her petite appendages resting upon her side while her cheek came to a rest within her chocolate fur. "I know Sam, I know."

The dramatic climax of Romeo and Juliet had been reached, the crying screams of the violins mimicking the two girls' current state. The trickle of Roses tears softly pelted Sams coat, only soon after to be absorbed, creating a new yet slightly damp pad for the rest of 'em. Samanthas own lightened honey visionaries were sleek with a film of droplets, they too being absorbed each time she blinked. A few moments later, the screen faded to black, only to bring to life the credits. Rose stood, dapped at her eyes, then proceeded to the bathroom to gather herself. Sam didn't need much time, she had seen the movie plenty, so it wasn't as heartbreaking as it was the first couple times. Once her optics were cleared, she dropped off the couch, only to gracefully trot her larger than usual physique over towards the door. Usually after a movie, Rose took her for a walk, both to clear their heads and for Sam to relief herself; which she desperately needed from all the water logging. "Alright girl, ready?" Her elongated plume thumped lightly upon the carpeted floor in response. "Maybe we'll meet our Romeo's along the way, huh?" Rose giggled to herself as she clicked the leash onto Sams collar and popped open the door for the both of them. With her tail and head held high, Sam trotted down the street beside her owner happily, her apex occasionally dipping to allow her moist onyx nose to sniff along the emerald terra below.

Rocky And did you miss me while you were looking for yourself out there? 'What a beautiful day,' the abnormaly large Border Collie thought joyfully, his tail wagging as he trotted down the sidewalk, dipping his head now and then to sniff at the grass underneath the fences. This neighborhood seemed to have new smells each time he visited. Tongue lolling out the side of his ajar, white muzzle, the male's caramel eyes searched the scenery around him with a strange attentiveness. The five year old seemed so youthful, what with the bounce in his step and the playful gleam in his eyes; it was as if he were stuck in his pup-hood. Black nose suddenly started twitching though as he continued to make his way down the sidewalk; a new scent had entered the air. As he searched it, he found it to be the sweet aroma of a female. Rocky smiled at the thought of meeting the girl, if he could only find her. Optics searched around until finally she was spotted; a large, black Newfoundland, and quite pretty by the looks of her. Haulting to watch her for a moment, a slight breeze ruffled his perfectly-groomed, black and white peltage, furry black ears coming forward as he listened to the sounds of the female's pads against the pavement. The male finally noted with a start that the female was coming towards him, and quickly he began to walk forth, hoping she was atleast a little friendly and he could spark up a conversation with the young fem. He trotted forward until he was at her side. Then, he suavely shifted his body so that he faced the same way as her, matching her stride as he walked beside the obsidian femmora. "Greetings, m'lady," he woofed kindly, flashing a handsome smile her way. "The name's Rocky. May I have the honor of knowing yours?" His tone was up-beat, his small grin kind; for truely, Rocky never meant any harm. The purebreed was exactly what one would stereotype a Border Collie as; friendly, out-going, loving, and just slightly on the hyper-active side. Rocky met her gaze for only a moment before breaking his coffee-shaded eyes free and staring up into the sky. "Beautiful day, isn't it?" The male murmered, attempting to get the female speaking; for he truely wanted to hear her voice, see what it sounded like. But for now, he bounded at a quick-paced trot at her side, eyes watching her for any signs of distress at his sudden appearence - hoping she wasn't one of those canines that hated his persona.

Samantha Lovesick;; Could a name be so sweet? The afternoon air was just as crisp as the grass, so when Rose sung down to Sam to lift her beautiful face and search for that Romeo, she did. I'll finish later..]]
