Hikari
Inside a small condo a whine of hunger was admitted, accompanied by the growling of an empty stomach. The dog stood next to the chair in which her owner, Sarah, sat typing on her laptop. The human girl stopped typing suddenly and glanced down at her pet worriedly. With a huffed-out sigh, the twolegger stood and walked over to the empty tin bowl, scooping some kibble into it and topping it off with leftover eggs from breakfast that morning before sitting down and returning to her computer.
With an excited yip, the young female canine trotted silently over to the now filled food bowl. Bending her head down, she devoured the eggs quickly. Then, laying down for better reach, Hikari began working on eating the kibble. Eating half of it, she stood and licked her lips before turning to her left, trotting quietly out into the hallway and laying down with a sigh, facing the open doorway.
As the East Siberian Laika lay there, a slight breeze playing with her short-cropped, prodominately light tan pelt, the fem couldn't help but think; Isn't love supposed to come before pups? Sarah had arranged for her to be meeting a male today, who she was potentionally supposed to breed with. To Hikari, the whole thing seemed unnatural. She'd always dreamed of the perfect male to sweep her off her paws, but what if he just didn't excist? Sighing through her cole-black nose, she rested her white muzzle on her ivory-colored paws and half-cream fore legs. The male dog was supposed to be arriving any minute. All Hikari could do was wait and patiently dread what the day would bring.

Azure crystals delicately moved about the scenery as his throat began to clench thanks to a choke collar, which was regrettably being tugged on by his frantic owner. The pure white dog was one that could be mistaken for a husky or any other canine chosen to be a sledding dog. Though his owner knew clearly that his prized possession was a remarkable Alaskan Klee Kai; respectfully named Kai. The white beauty and his owner briskly walked down the street, then up a few hills before slowing at the sight of a beautiful home. Quinn’s companion looked hopefully up; ‘Oh dear god’ he thought as a whine was pushed from his throat, the scent of a female lay thick in the air, almost suffocating the brute. He didn’t know the first thing when it came to breeding so why the hell was he here? Frantically he let out grumbles of dissatisfaction rupture his stance, sending the dog into frenzy, shaking around and pulling back on the lead. “Let me go back home!” He yelped, desperately trying to escape. A growl escaped his maw, his plan didn’t work, Quinn still stood steady, tugging back at the lead and barking orders right on back to Kai.
Finally the white rocket slowly calmed down; maybe she could talk him through the whole love making process? He grumbled as the black haired boy of twenty-two pulled him up the steps of the house and to the door. “Now sit!” the man called down to his beloved dog, lifting then pointing down with his index finger. Kai; trained beyond his liking obeyed and sat, why couldn’t his real master take him to the door and get him bred, not the son of his musher.

Hikari A sound coming from down the street caused her ears to jump suddenly; it was the yelping of a dog, saying something like; "Let me go!" Along the lines of that, Hikari thought, though she hadn't really captured the words fully. Lifting to a sitting position in the hall, amber optics stared steadily out the screen door blocking her from the outside world. Could the voice have come from the male that was destined to come into her home today? A gulp made its way down her throat as Hikari stood, giving her short-cropped peltage a quick shake.
Spotting a man approaching the front door of the house, the female jumped to her feet, allowing three barks to admit from her throat. Stifling a growl as the man walked up the steps, her eyes widened at the sight of the male dog at the twolegger's side; a pure white Alaskan Klee Kai was to be her mate? Thinking she must be mistaken, Hikari turned and dashed into the living room where Sarah was, barking at her expectantly; though this time a whine mingled with her vocals. Turning back toward the hallway, the female Laika loped into the corrador, her owner two steps behind her. Skidding to a hault at the door, her nose twitched as she inhaled the scent of the dog outside; the tail which curled over her back unravelled slightly, raised and stiffened. Ears pricked tencely forward as Sarah started speaking to the other human. "You must be Quinn? I'm Sarah."
Sarah walked over to Hikari then, pushing the dog back and opening the screen door slowly. "Please, come in." The word in clicked in Hikari's brain, and finally she realised that this was the dog she was supposed to breed with. The female looked him over through the open door; he wasn't that bad looking. With a sigh, she turned, limbs colored by white up to her knees carrying her into the living room. There, she lowered her rump to the ground, tan tail tipped by white tail waving slowly, unsure about what was to come. Cream-colored, pointed muzzle faced toward the hall, anticipating the arrival of the other canine.

The rambunctious male settled down as he heard barks explode from behind the dark screen holding whomever it was in, and him out. A sudden wave of fear washed over his thinking, what if she was a huge dog who was brawny and didn’t take his ‘no’ for an answer? Aqua pools widened in fear as his two-legger started walking into the house, puling Kai behind him with sharp tugs to his lead. Kai’s paws scrambled about the porch for something to push against but found nothing but a welcome mat that slid as he was pulled into the house’s darkened corridor. It seemed like he was in a horror movie, pressed into breeding but first taken to this dungeon of horrors. He let a loud dog scream wallow within his throat just waiting to be let out in case things got ugly. The white man of almost two, decided to put on a false face. He allowed his body to be ushered into the chamber of torments, and danced proudly alongside his master’s son. Hoping to fool the brawny female he thought would be waiting that he was not one to mess with. Yet as they entered a lit room his stomach lurched and his courage ran away until; he saw a beautiful Laikia. My my was she gorgeous! His maw split into a wide grin as he was released off his lead and he happily strolled over towards his ‘bride’ for the night. “Uhh hi.” He said nervously as he sat beside the fae, leaning his muzzle in to take in her sweet aroma.
She was truly stunning; if they were to breed the pups would be the cutest he’d ever seen that was for sure. “I’ve never done this before.” He admitted glancing down to her bouncing tail and allowing his curly one to wiggle by hers. He couldn’t help himself but his eyes kept meeting hers, she was perfect.

Hikari
Oh god, Hikari thought with a false smirk as she heard the clicking off claws softly against the thin carpetting of the living room floor, this is going to fail so badly. A knot pressed on her throat that she was forced to gulp down, and the female stood anxiously, pacing the length of the couch back and forth as she awaited his arrival. Her head was lowered below shoulder blade level, and a small whine escaped past her kissers as the brute entered her home, finally coming into full view. She caught her breath, biting her low lip; my, is he handsome. The thought rampaged through her brain, and she shook her head, flashing a nervous smile his way.
As he came toward her, Hikari lowered her rump to the soft ground, nodding in greeting as he placed himself next to her. The Laika smirked at his words, chuckling softly, obviously nervous. "Neither have I." A soft smile planted itself on her facade, muzzle facing downward but teal eyes looked up into his. "Sorry if I come off as a little nervous, or unwelcoming," she murmered, ears falling back slightly. "I'm just not used to this kind of thing." 'Wait, didn't I already mention that?' Inwardly, she repremanding herself for her stupidity, gulping down a knot in her throat and raising her head slightly. Turning her muzzle toward him, she inhaled his scent; taking in his looks. In fact, the male was extremely handsome; which only added to her nerves, and she felt her skin heat up under her pelt. "My name is Hikari, by the way. It's japanese for 'Light'. I don't know why, but I think my owner, Sarah, gave it to me because she used to watch these japanese shows called 'anime', or soething like that." Suddenly, she clamped her jaws shut, biting her tongue; shoot, she was rambling again. Inwardly wincing, she sighed inaudibly, whispering uinder her breath; "Sorry." Finally, she fell silent, and waited for him to speak.

Kai’s white body gave off a soft shudder as his owner started talking to this Hikari’s. “I don’t even know how to breed!” he yelped glancing over to the femme who’s wonderful scent lingered around his nose, teasing his senses. Smiling rather sheepishly at his final confession and gulped down any scared feeling that inhabited his stomach. Though he was still very nervous he put his happy face on and sat looking dangerously at Quinn. If that boy ever fell down a well he sure as hell wouldn’t turn into Lassie for him. Though it was tough; he held back a growl, which would show his disgust in Quinn’s bid for money.
Though her speaking was nonsense rambling he enjoyed it a bit, she was a good female to fill the silence that was for sure. At least they weren’t sitting there in an awkward silence, what would be a tad uncomfortable. His bright blue eyes eased over her frame; caressing her curves with noticeable delight. He wasn’t sizing her up or going to just hop on her and get at her right here right now that was for sure; he was simply checking her out, and did nothing to hide his admiration.
“I’m Kai.” He said softly mesmerized by her beauty; the butterflies in his stomach fluttered about, fleeting for a release somehow. ’Relax..’ he reassured himself, but he couldn’t help but hear Quinn gad to Sarah about his father’s best lead dog. He could catch a few sentences in his scared state, ‘… So do you want me to leave him here for the day and they’ll get breeding when they go at it? Or do you want us to bring them together at a later date ….” Quinn’s voice droned into his erect ears, terrifying him for a few seconds.
He’d stay here, in this house? With a female he’s supposed to mate with either tonight tomorrow or at a later date? What if he needed to go to the bathroom, He wouldn’t have his backyard tree to mark! He couldn’t help but feel a bit ill. He’d most likely embarrass himself in front of the female if he stayed with her that long. [/blockquote][/blockquote]

Hikari
Hikari couldn't help but giggle just a bit as he yelped the sentence out. "Take a chill pill; I really don't know much about it either." She smiled sweetly at him, watching intently as his blue eyes traced over her lithe form. The fem didn't mind his admiration one bit; in fact, it might've even helped her self-esteem just a tad bit, which was always good, seeing as she'd never really thought much of herself. Though, her ears did twitch as she caught the faint sound of a stifled growl coming from the male's throat as he watched the guy she'd heard Sarah calling 'Quinn'. "You don't like him, do you?" She asked simply, hoping the question didn't pry to much.
As he spoke his name, something knotted in her stomach, making her feel slightly sick; but in the good, nervous way. 'How the heck can this be good?' the female thought to herself with a only slightl-audible sigh, teal optics meeting his gaze once more. "It really is nice to meet you, Kai; to bad its kind of an...awkward situation to meet in." Hikari murmered with a small smile his way, eyes sparkling only slightly as she became mezmerized in his eyes; they truely were gorgeous, not to mention his handsome physiche and facial features. 'Atleast she didn't choose some ugly Malamute for me to breed with,' she thought, trying to be optimistic about the whole thing. Though, hearing what Sarah said in reply to Quinn's words didn't help all that much.
"Uhm...why don't you let him stay here for the night? You know, elt them work it out between themselves...I'm sure it won't be long."
Casting her eyes over to Sarah, optics narrowed into a glare of resentment. Even though she liked Kai, keeping him at her house overnight!? Sure, the guy was trustworthy, but trusting him sleeping on her dog bed tonight? It was madness! 'Does Sarah have a fever? Some kind of mental mental illness? Can she even think straight!?' It didn't seem as if, for she had agreed to take the Alaskan Klee Kai in for the night, with soulely the thought of having him breed with Hikari sometime in the cover of darkness. The East Siberian Laika gulped, turning her eyes to Kai, gaze softening as it met the male's. Surely he was thinking the same thing - that the whole situation was crazy - right?

As the woman suggested he stay there over night Kai arose to his paws; “What the hell?” he barked at Quinn growling deeply at his master’s son, he’d do anything for money! He even did some dirty deeds back in his younger days to ‘score’ with women. Too bad Quinn couldn’t teach him what to do with dog-ladies. He let out a gruff and returned to Hikari’s side nuzzling her softly in the neck before answering her question. “He’s my musher’s son; he’s doing this to get money while my master’s out of town.” He explained his voice a barely audible grumble.
Ice blue orbs slunk over his new mail-order mate; she was fine that was for sure. “I can’t believe I’m going to have to breed tonight.” He grumbled softly; leaning over to test her, nipping near her hindquarters softly. As he sniffed her rump while nipping he couldn’t help but feel the inner man whore inside him want to just get up and mount the bitch he was set up with.
He let a soft ‘hmm’ escape his voice box as he settled down resting his maw upon his forepaws; feeling blatantly awkward. “I know; it’s not ever day you get a ‘mail-order bride’.” He mused softly; pulling his paws over his maw in a small attempt to scratch his jaws.
So this was it; nearly two and he was going to mate, become a father and then what? Would they end up falling in love or will it all just fall apart. Shattering their pups hearts?

Hikari Hikari flinched as Kai arose to his paws, shouting at the man who'd brought him here for making his stay over night. As Kai returned, though, his nuzzle to her neck allowed her muscles to relax; she jutted her muzzle out in return, softly swiping it up his neck to ruffle his fur before recoiling and listening to his responce. The female nodded slowly then, before replying; "I'm sorry. My owner, Sarah, is doing it simply to get puppies out of me. She says I'm 'too beautiful, and shouldn't keep it to myself.' Apparently she's reffering to passing along the bloodline." Hikari shuddered slightly at the thought, sighing deeply through her coal black nose.
Teal optics trailed over Kai's body, her attuned harks barely catching the words he mumbled. "Your not the only one," she breathed quietly, her hark twitching as he nipped at her rump; testing her, possibly? The whoole routine seemed odd to her, but she allowed the brute to proceed, her own nose sniffing at anything she could reach. When he finished with a soft 'hmm', Hikari simply nodded, lowering herself to a sphinx-like laying position a moment after Kai had. At his words, she chuckled softly. "Well, thats true," she mumbled in responce, crossing her front paws and swivelling her head over to her right - the side of her where Kai rested - and placed her head softly on his back; and she heard her owner quietly whisper a sound resembling 'aww' at the sight. Tan harks flick back to her skull with distaste at the sound, but she makes no movement; waiting to see if the male had any rejection to this pose.
