{Forum Rules}
• Give respect to gain respect, and please treat everyone kindly.
• Keep your preferences about sex, religion, drugs, etc. obscene things to yourself please. The staff members WILL take care of it, and you.
• Post in the correct boards.
• No vigilantes. If someone is breaking a rule, contact the staff and we'll deal with it. We don't need five billion staff member wannabes running around.
• One account per person and up to sixdogs max per person. If you have your limit and want more, then put some up for adoption or buy perks with the Fleas you have earned in the Flea Market.
• The site may carry PG-13+ content, so please make sure you're 13+
{Special Rules}
• This site has a point exchange. For each post, you earn points, aka 'fleas' to exchange at the Flea Market for perks, such as an extra character slot, a multi-colored display name, and more.
{Characters and Accounts}
• We ask that you only make characters that are real breeds (registered by the AKC or any other, well known, vindicated, legal breed registry). Please, do not make biographies with breeds that are extinct. Mutts (mixes) are more than fine. No coyotes, fox or any wild canine related species are allowed but, can be bought in the Flea Market. Pure bred wolves and wolf hybrids are allowed FOR NOW, but if too many people sign up for them, they will be available only in the Flea Market. We ask that you do not make unrealistic heights, weights or unnatural advantages for your character, such as a Labrador who can sprint at 60 mph or a pit bull with a bite pressure equal to that of a lion.
• This is a realistic roleplay, as realistic as talking dogs can be. No crazy colors, powers, wings, etc. Also, dogs with red eyes, etc. aren't allowed either.
• Again, members are allowed six characters, and staff members are allowed as many as they can keep up with.
• Please refrain from using silly or immature account names like: "iluvbubblez98" or "S3Xii BABi GURL". Keep your account name simple, and classy. You may decorate your account name any way you like with those cool symbols, just as long as it isn't crazy and overbearing.
• One account per person. We will know if you have more than one.
• Please wait for the admins to accept your character bio before role playing.
• The moment your characters are accepted, you must post in the Taken Names thread, located in Accepted Characters, so we can keep an accurate record of our dogs.
• No Mary-Sue characters (you know...those annoying characters that are not only physically attractive but also perfect at everything else, and have no weaknesses). Tweaks are fun to play around with. Also, don't copy someone's character, be original.
• If you're applying to become a leader, please also include a sample RP post of the character in question in the FIRST POST of your character's bio.
• We allow liquid time, so your character can be in up to three different threads.
• If you post a bio that is WIP [work in progress] You will have up to seven days to finish it. After that, it will be deleted.
{Roleplaying}
• This is an intermediate-advanced roleplay which means one-liners will not be tolerated. However, we ARE willing to help you to improve your posts, so please PLEASE ask if you are not at this level.
• If you're an excellent RPer, great. But for the sake of those reading your posts, don't make your reply a novel. Longer posts are fine if the situation calls for it, but under no circumstances does one need to read through 7 paragraphs of a dog grooming itself.
• Spelling errors are natural, but if you happen catch one in your post please modify it. There is a spell check button. Use it.
• No chatspeak. EVER. Maybe will NOT hesitate to smack you. And yes, May DOES read every thread. Almost. Perhaps.
• Sub-plots are allowed and encouraged. But, if you would like to participate in the main plot, contact the staff first for further information.
• Absolutely no power-playing or god-moding. Roleplaying is rather annoying when you have that one bad apple that dodges every attack.
• Nothing too graphic, please. If the thread will be sexually mature, take it to PMs. If it will be mature because of graphic violence and blood and guts and whatnot, please put an [M] in the title.
{Signatures}
• Nothing obscene or staff will take it off, and then you'll be dealt with.
• You can fill up your siggy to your hearts content, however, if it stretches the page, you'll be asked to resize.
{Graphics}
• Plagiarism is strictly banned. You'll be severely dealt with for this.
•If you would like a picture, don't bug anyone about it. Place a request in the gallery and wait for someone to get to it.
• If you want your own Gallery, PM Maybe and she might do it. Might.
{Mating and Babies ♥}
• Post in the Pup Bios board when your dog is about to give birth, I will give you the stats and appearances of your puppies. Tell us if you have bought any perks that affect any of this.
• You can only have three pups per litter, unless you buy the Extra Pup perk.
• No graphic breeding is allowed. We may be an advanced site and allow graphic posts in the way of violence, language or macabre but, please, do us a favor and have the scene fade out. We don't wish to throw up in our mouths.
{Fighting and Challenging}
• Challenges can be made after a lead character has held their rank for 3 weeks. Understand, that challenges are much different than fights as they are strictly one-on-one between a leader and a character who wishes to challenge them for leadership. No other characters are allowed to enter the fight. What also makes them different than fights is that staff will judge the fight based on set criteria and then announce a winner. The winner then takes leadership over the pack. Know that with challenges the same power playing rules apply.
• Fights can include any number of dogs, and they are not decided upon by staff. If your character gets into a fight IC, do not take it out on the other person OOC. Just don't take it personally. Put on your big girl panties and deal with it, 'kay? (That was a little bit mean, but I really do love you guys.)
