The humans of Harlow Heights are beginning to perish, one by one. A fatal and rapidly contagious disease has ripped through the human population for the past few weeks, killing almost every human on the planet, and now, the last ones are beginning to vanish. But it seems that the disease is not able to infect animals. No one is certain, but there's one thing that is inevitable: the Forest dogs are beginning to hear about the deaths, and they've had their eyes on the town of Harlow Heights for years. But the pets of Harlow Heights aren't going to relent that easily. They form a pack and elect a leader, a strong, healthy, brave dog who will go up against the legendary leader of the Evergreen Forest Pack, Darthyn. But assembling an army isn't as easy as it sounds. The Evergreen pack is as healthy as ever, and their future looks promising. Will the newly founded Central Urban Pack have what it takes to defend what is theirs, or will the two leaders find a way to band together in the best bet at survival? After all, there is strength in numbers. But do the dogs know that?
