Jasper had grown a bit not much, but just a little his walking had became normal, he use to wobble for how chunky he was, but in time it would be muscles. He was out on the hunt in Sundance Glade catching small prey would help him be a good hunter as he walked through the grass his eyes observed around him as he did a small baby rabbit caught his attention. His skills at hunting was terrible, to him they were good, but really.
They weren't he slowly walked up to the rabbit his patients grew shorter every step he took every time the rabbit eat the grass he would move quick, but then slow down when the rabbit watched him as the rabbit took off running a small puppy growl came from his throat "Dang it rabbit you ain't going to get away"he yelled. He then took off running through the short amount of grass the rabbit made quick sharp turns, as for Jasper. He was way behind in the dust, but he didn't give up.
Soon in time the rabbit took off into the hole which was probably his home, Jasper hurried the pace when he got to the hole he started to dig into it "Come out rabbit so I can kill you, and eat your flesh"he spoke his fangs digging into the edges of the hole his mouth was cover in dirt when he finally gave up he sat down, and stared at it he looked like a lost pup" Why every time I go hunting I cant catch one simple rabbit I'm tired of everyone giving me food I want to earn it"he spoke in a anger tone.
He was so tired of being given food that sometimes he wont eat the catch he would eat bugs which wasn't exactly healthy he was some what the stubborn pup who a bit of a temper problem to it.
(hoping that Jack would come in and help him hunt if not its cool)

Jack sat there, silent, watching his trainee. Today would be their second lesson, and hopefully would be successful. Jasper was a good pup and all, but he was naive and would take some time. Jack was defiantly not excited that they had already gotten to hunting.
He wasn't exactly the best hunter. The prey usually heard him before her was even a foxtail away. 'But oh well.' he thought to himself, keeping his spirits up. There's no point in being sad about things, or thats how jack saw it anyway.
He sat there, continuing to watch. Hopefully this time Jasper would find him, instead of Jack creeping up on him.

Believe.... Gypsy watched with almond glazed eyes as she stood in the copse, watching the activities in the meadow. A young pup about her age or so with another adult dog. They were hunting. The long-haired pup sat, with her ears perked and head tilted, the Shetland Sheepdog watched with an interested expression. She wanted to know to hunt. She gave a small whine of tension. Dogs were never friendly to her. Her sable and white coat bristled with anticipation. She wanted to meet these dogs, but she was rather afraid. She had lived 4 of her 6 months of life with humans, but they left her alone and she decided to be a stray. But being a stray was tough on the pup.
Her paws were itching to run, her tail yearning to wag, her tongue longing to loll. But she kept herself glued to the spot, tiny optics watching the skilled dogs with interest, her eyes sparkling in awe. She wanted a life like that. Gypsy sighed, and returned to her original task; to eat the blackberries growing on the bush beside her. Hunger had lead her to berry-eating. She was tired of trying to fight dogs at the dump for her meal. She gingerly picked the fattest berries from their thorny sanctuaries and munched them down. She cleaned off two branches when a bluish-black stain marked the white of her chin and the tan of her upper lips below her button-black nose. She snuffled along the branches with interest.
She was working on a second branch when something sharp and searing smack her leg from below. She yelped loudly, the cry echoing in the field. A rat snake was coiled under the bush. Though it was not poisonous, the bite still hurt. Gypsy was crying now, loud whines and yelps of pain. Her pinnas were held against her skull like a glue has pinned them. She dashed out into the glade, almost smacking into the smallest of the dogs. She ran blindly, and got her legs tripped and tangled in some kudzu patches. She stumbled, and smacked face-first into the dirt, another cry escaping her.
She whimpered pathetically.

As Jasper sat their with a huge fit his noise caught the scent of some one he didn't know who, but someone he hurried, and turned around. Making a small puppy growl the thing is he didn't take his time to absorb the scent into his nostril if had taken his time he would have figured out that it was Jack. Instead he was all rushed up, and didn't get the chance to see if he new the scent or not. Jasper made the small puppy growl looking around to see where it came from "Show your self who ever you are"he yelled. He remembered what Jack said except he didn't follow perfect he only took a sniff. Then when he heard a loud whine he jumped with ears high up as tail raised his fur bristled up it scare Jasper so bad that his legs started to shake.
(sorry it took so long I been a bit low on muse)

Jack's ears pricked up, hearing the femme's yelp of pain. Spotting her quickly, he hobbled over to her, growling at the snake as it flicked its forked tongue at the three legged dog. “If there’s one thing I hate, it’s snakes” he snarled, the hair on the back on his neck rising. He stared at the snake, almost as if they were having a stare-off. Letting out a bark, Jack moved slightly towards the snake, hoping it would leave. The snake hissed once, before giving up and slithering away into the undergrowth
Turning back to the Sheltie, he bent down, inspecting the bite. “Doesn’t seem too bad, Miss. Musta have forgotten to poison ya’” he said, chuckling a bit at his joke. Attempting to look serious, he looked at the little dogs eyes, attempting to look friendly. “I’m Jack, by the way. Warrior of Darthyn’s pack.” he said, his tongue lolling out. “Where you from, miss?” he asked, sitting down.
Then, he remembered Jasper, and searched for the pup with his eyes, spotting him easily. “Jasper, did you scent me this time?” he asked his trainee, his gaze a bit stern. He better have, but if he didn’t and he lied, the old dog would know. He wasn’t like a mind reader or anything, but he was pretty good at telling when others where lying; mainly from the physical stuff. He looked at the pup, awaiting his answer.

Believe.... Gypsy felt a sudden relief as the snake went on its way, the brave dog who had chased him off. She gingerly untangled her bodice from the kudzu vines and stood up. She watched in alert attention as Jack inspected her bite. It throbbed terribly, but she felt no different. Her sable and tan pelt was begining to lay flat, the spikes resting at ease once more on her small frame. She looked up at Jack, a dog much larger than herself. She was brimming with gratitude at the way he intimidated the snake. She felt a sudden calm wash over her and she watched as his expression turned to a serious caution. She looked and thought briefly before speaking.
"My names Gypsy. Thank you so much Jack for scaring off that snake. I was eating blackberries and it BIT me! Can you believe it? Why would it bite me, I wasn't hurting it? Was I? I didn't think I was. What do you think???" Her hyper-active chatter was zooming from her tiny maw, her excitement still toned in her eyes. Her adrenaline supply was still pumping, but she felt more relaxed. Her little inquires were continuing....
"Who's Darthyn? I come from the Farmlands. I used to be a pet before my humans disappeared. They really loved me, I don't know where they went. Who's Jasper?" The flood of questions halted as her semi-pricked sonars erected themselves in alertness. She looked at the pup Jack had called apon.

The three-legged dog chuckled as he listened to Gypsy's chatter. "Who knows. These snakes are unpredictable. I think you just better be careful." he said, though more in a light hearted way, rather than repremanding.
"Jasper is my trainee. Darthyn is the alpha of the stray dog pack, and I've heard of the humans disappearing." he said, looking at the pretty dog. If only he was a few years younger and the blasted humans hadn't snipped him
Pushing the thought out of his mind, he gave a glance to Jasper before looking back at the sheepdog. "Would you like to come and live with us? Darthyn, Rico, or Thorn would have to accept you, though." he said, remembering that apparently Darthyn didn't trust him enough to accept pack members.

Believe.... The small sheepdog gazed at Jack in awe. The sound of being in a pack was marvelous to little Gypsy, who had no place in life and was just a stray. But if she was a pack member, dogs would teach her to hunt and to fight. She was pretty much a clueless Sheltie, with no known survival rules in this horrid suburb. She longed for the scent of fresh-cut hay on the emerald fields, Mister petting her as she gazed at the sheep pen. Ma and Pa would be out their chasing them. Missus would have dinner ready when they came in. A crestfallen look shadowed over her face as she realized that all her family was gone. Gone forever.
She looked at the tripod dog, her almond eyes twinkling with delight. "Do you think I could? Would I make a good member? Would I meet other young dogs like myself? I hope I do. I want to learn to hunt, and to swim, and to fight, and to travel, and to patrol. I wanna do it! Her chocolate eyes shone with sheer delight, and her fur was prickled with the exhilarating thoughts. She looked at Jasper, back in the clearing.
He was young like herself. A little shabby. She tilted her head to the side, her ears pricked in interest. She broke focus off again and looked at Jack. "Would I get a mentor too?" The quiet tone was not hyper or fast, but a solemn question. She had no one to love her like a pup should, and Jack seemed really fond of Jasper. Gypsy wanted that feeling too. He nodded, chuckling at the femme's inthusiasm. She would definately make a good addition, as long as she had a patient mentor. Perhaps Darthyn would allow him to take on two apprentices. "Yes, but first you must be accepted into the pack. I think you would make a great member. I don't think we have any dogs like you yet, but we may get some soon. And of course, you'd get a mentor. I don't know who, but you will. How old are you?" he asked, wanting to make sure she was old enough to become a trainee.

Jasper watched Jack appear out of the brushes to help the cry that came from the brushes fur settled down until Jack spoke about if he had caught his scent. Jasper was silent, yes he did catch it, but he didn't know it was him he just found a scent near him "Yea, but umm.....I didn't exactly now it was you I just found out some one was near me while I was trying to get a meal"he spoke with a worried tone.
Jasper felt stupid in the head he just wanted to hit his head a thousand times on a tree till he got it right, he slowly moved toward Jack, and the femme named Gypsy. As he reached them he sat next to Jack with head low showing that he forgot one thing, and it was to figure out who scent it was, but of coarse being in training was helping get better, slowly over the days.
He looked over at Gypsy with a smile he gave a nod "Hi"he spoke trying to act like some mature adult, but of coarse sooner or later his acting of being adult would go away quickly. For which all pups weren't perfect maybe if they had their mothers, but still.

He shook his head, his eyes murky. He didn't look mad, but maybe a bit disappointed. "Jasper, it means nothing if you can't tell who it is. If you smell that someone is there, but don't know what it is, it could be anything. It could be something dangerous and you wouldn't know until it attacked you!" he said, trying to keep his voice calm. He was not one to be mad, but he was getting frustrated!
He did feel bad for seeming like a bad guy in front of Gypsy, but he could not help it. He wasn't back, he was doing his job. If Jasper didn't learn, he himself would fail, and Jasper wouldn't survive by himself

Jasper had his head even lower with a unhappy look as Jack spoke "Im...Im sorry I wont let you down next time I am going to go try and catch food"he spoke, he looked up at the femme, and gave a nod "Nice meeting you ma'am"he spoke upset. Then slowly got up, and went back to the area he was at to go find food for him, and hopefully find food for Jack as well.
As he moved through the brush he spotted the baby rabbit that he tried to catch, but failed, he was going to try, and catch it he crouched down to the ground, and slowly moved toward it as dark brown eyes watched its every movement. As the rabbit nibbled on the small grass that was dark green his puppy fangs moved together ready to grab a hold of the rabbit by the neck.

Believe.... As Jack told her of all the wonders of pack life, the more the young femme Sheltie wanted to dodge right off and join. But her mind was not as senseless as her chatter, and reasoning teemed in her mind as tried to configure it all out. Her sable fur was teased by the upcoming breeze, a light rumbling thunder in the distance. She noted some ominous clouds with dark shading, but this oncoming storm looked about thirty minutes from Harlow. Her golden brown gaze rested on Jasper as he spoke.
"Hi Jasper, I am Gypsy. Nice to meet you too!" Her friendly words were followed by a wagging tail as she enjoyed company. She suppressed a giggle as Jasper tried to act serious, but reframed from giggling. He seem disappointed. Gypsy didn't like disappointment. Jack was having a stern advice talk, and the little fae sat quietly, fidgeting her paws in a restless discomfort.
She waited until after Jack and Jasper were done talking before she quipped.
"I am 7 seven months now. Soon to be 8!" She watched in a sad way as Jasper stalked off. She hated that feeling; the feeling of sorrow and pain. A pang of pity was reserved for him in her heart.
Shoe focused back on Jack.

Jack sighed Jasper walked away; what was he going to do with him? He didn't seem to get anything that Jack said into his head. Turning back to the fae, his tail wagging as she said her age. She was the age of a trainee. "Really? Well as soon as you get accept we'll get you a trainer." he said, not mentioning that he hoped it would be him.

Gypsy snapped from her solemn stance as Jack began speaking of more promising things than a pup who she did not even know with the slightest hint. Her semi-prick sonars were keen on everything around her, but were all for the words Jack had to offer. Deep and inquisitive, young Gypsy was quiet for the first time.
"Then I shall do it!" Her words were filled with divine confidence, her heart pounding in anticipation.
