It was early morning, the sun having only just begun to let its beautiful golden rays loose upon the resting spot of the dark femme fatale as she rested within the hollowed out trunk of a fallen tree. She opened one eye, chocolate orb soon peeking towards the sun that now traced its light through the forest, her right hark flicking forward as she listened to the birds that were singing their songs. "Ugh..." she said softly, allowing her eye to close once more as her head rocked back against the soft texture of her paws.
She lay there for a moment, simply breathing and resting as she concentrated and thought to herself. I gotta get up.... but I would oh so love to stay asleep... came one thought. But then as a gust of cool morning wind billowed on through ruffling her beautiful pelt, she thought again upon staying. Brrr.. that was cold. Maybe I should get up... I need to stay warm so.. I guess I'll just go for a morning run. she thought as she remained laying within the hollowed trunk, her spine shifting with a shiver.
Slowly, hesitantly, the dark baroness pushed herself to her tendons, red highlights within her mane shining like fire as the morning light hit them. Opening her eyes she cast another glance towards the rising sung and huffed, wispy tendrils of steam flowing forth from her dark lips before they danced into the heavens shortly before they dissapeared. Sable soon slipped herself into a graceful bow, thick plush plume flowing into an arc that curved over her lower spine and graced it with its feathery touch. She let out a groan of content as she stretched, soon rising to stand straight again.
Turning on about she looked upon the hollowed tree that she'd slept in the previous night then looked back through the forest. "Well, this forest isn't getting any warmer..." she stated to herself as she then picked up her feet and began to trot on down a path between trees. Before long she slipped into an easy and rocking lope, but it soon turned into a full out run, her harks pushing forward with happiness, her plume flowing high as the wind then traced on through her coat causing its shadowy tendrils to billow.
She was running just fine, her heart being filled with happiness as she ran, her muscles soon warming do to the movement, but soon caught a familiar scent within her nares. Rabbit. Mmm Mmm Mmm.. If there's one thing the femme liked more than a good night's rest and morning run, it was fast food. Yesterday's breakfast was kibble, but today... it was gonna be rabbit if she had anything to do with it.
