Miracle!
Yesterday I got a call from the shelter and they asked that ALL of my foster animals be returned, because they were having an Adoption Fair that was supposedly going to have a wonderful turn out. We've had the fairs before and they'd never done much good, a couple of dogs got adopted and a few kittens. Grown animals never have much luck.
Today, however, I was informed that the shelters are going to be EMPTY! All of my fosters are going to new homes, we've done home checks and they're all amazing people. I am so excited for all of the animals, and I'm glad they finally found themselves homes. I didn't think anyone would take Blue or even Wolfie, because they are full-grown dogs that no longer have the appeal of puppyhood; but I was definitely wrong. God Bless the people that found it in their hearts to take these animals home!
I will post pictures of the animals and their new owners soon, and let you know if anyone got left behind. -crosses fingers-
Update on Everest
Everest, the orphaned kitten I found yesterday, has had his own little miracle occur. We had been trying to find him a 'surrogate' mom cat who could feed and care for him, but it wasn't looking good after he was rejected time and time again. Finally, we placed him with Ariouch (our own pet female) and she allowed him to nurse and began cleaning him up.
As of this morning he is still doing great, and thanks for all the good vibes!
