The steel-gray leader shot a glance at Jack, smiling and nodding his head.

"Ah yes, that old story." He closed his eyes for a moment, reminiscing about when he, himself, was a pup and Peg Leg Jack, before he was a tripod, told him crazy stories of his adventures. Then he looked the the newcomer. She was pretty, yes, he had to admit that, but apparently her respect for elders was lacking.

"Scandal, if you are to be a part of my pack, you will learn to mind your elders. Did Jack mention that time he wrassled an alligator?" He furrowed his brow, then looked to the small three-legged dog. "Or was it a crocodile, Jack?"

The alpha chuckled slightly, and returned his golden gaze to the female. "It had better not happen again. But until then, you may stay here."

Yes sir; he did mention it.
Mind your elders was normally something she did even in the worst of moods and it had gone haywire and turned into bitter disrespect. Her banner waved a bit when she heard she could stay with the pack. "No more running around lonely; I'm part of something here. "

Hazel gaze looked upon Jack and then to Darthyn which met his gaze. Quickly the fea turned back to Jack ; and then her gaze wandered aimlessly around the lodge.

Jack chuckled, looking at the young alpha. "Aye, it was a alligator. Huge one, at that. Took me by surprise. But I wrestling of, showed 'em who'b boss. And, missy, you are forgiven." He said, giving her a nod. "Now, Darthyn, are we ever going to have pups? It seems like we aren't. I'd help out myself but those damned humans are to blame!" He said, sitting down.

Pups?
The word was muttered out of her jaws, and curiosity began. The talk was about rebuliding the future and more pups where needed inorder to make that happen.

She threw out the sentence randomly and embaressment took over and slowly the fae lowered herself to the floor of the lodge to continue to listen to Darthyn and Jack. Interested compeltely in the subject. Now she was completely relaxed and felt she could trust the other two for company. Hazel's watched Darthyn he was handsome but surely he wasnt interested in a fae like herself. A short sigh escaped her chambers as she listened intently.

At Jack's words, the alpha rolled his shoulders back in the form of a shrug. He inhaled deeply, about to tell Jack about his deal with Thorn, but as soon as the words began to form in his mouth, the female spoke.

I would love to have a litter to help out the pack. Utterly astounded by this, Darthyn let his jaw hang open for a few heartbeats, then as reality hit him, he shook his head and nodded resolutely.

"Are you in good health?" Without even waiting for her answer, he took a step forward. "You may conceive a litter with Thorn or whomever you choose. The pack thanks you."

"I can see ya as quite a good mother. We only have one in the nursery. That fae...Kitty...Or is it Birdie. Anyways, she's really sweet when ya get to know her. I remember when I 1st met Darthyn here. He was but a pup. But still feisty.Good times." He said, chuckling. "Darthyn, you know, you should have some pups of you're own, eh? Leader oughta. Unless you want a war waged for alpha when you die. I have been in a few wars myself. Like when those humans catured me, only after they knocked me out, of course. Back here in a day. Those humans didn't know what hit em! " He began, off to tell but another story

At the old dog's words, Darthyn felt his cheeks grow hot, and he knew if he were as hairless as a two-leg, they'd be as red as beets. He forced a half-hearted smile onto his face, chuckling uncomfortably.

"Well uhm..." He stammered, his eyes darting from Jack to Scandal. "I've yet to find a mate, so..." He gulped. "First thing's first..."

Jack nodded. "The pack need some little yippers." He said, sitting down again. "I think I may have had a litter with some housepet That was before the pack. She sure was pretty, with 'er long, silky fur an' 'er bright blue eyes.'[/b] He said, sounding almost dreamy. "Ah, well. Kinda seems, sometimes, if ya' got snipped, then theres no hope. Those humans we scared silly when they dragged me into that place. It took them forever to get this brute down!" he said, sounding a bit triumphant"but whateve' pups we have 'ill do good. That Molly seems to know what she's doing."[/color]

She was sound in health, nothing was wrong and she felt wonderfull not sickly. One thing though finding a mate. She was a pretty thing but not all that pretty. More like a wolf than a dog. She listened to Jack and Darthyn chat. I can see ya as a good mother. Jacks words came out but would she really be ?

May i ask who thorn is?

She had no clue whatsoever who thorn was. And she wanted to know. Curiosity struck her once again.

"Well, 1st of, let me show you around." he said, heaving himself up. He began to walk to the nesting hollow, turning to make sure the femme was following him

"Thorn is another one of us few trusted dogs. He's a dog/wolf mutt. Good Brute. Now, here is the nesting hollow. We sleep here, and lounge. Over there is the nursery, where we only have one dog in there currently. i have a feeling she'll take a liking to you." He said, continuing about all the other places on the territory.

"Now. If you'd like I can introduce you or point out a few dogs. I think we should introduce you to Kit, so she has some time to get used to you. Waddya say, Eh?" He asked, waiting for the femmes reply
