Sakura smiled at him. She had a boyfriend. Or, whatever dogs call them. She watched his owner come out of the shack. Aw. she thought, saddened that they would be parting for a little while. But he said he would be coming to find her later, so it wasn't all that bad.

"Okay, look for me at the creek if it's warm out. Which it probably will be. I'm always up for a swim." she told him, exuberance radiating throughout her voice. "I'll see you later." she said more softley to him. Sakura watched him bound to the car and hop in. She watched the sandwhich land in front of her, and the human mumble some misunderstood words. But it was just a stand-still for Sakura. She was in love, and there was no doubting that.

Sakura gulped the sandwitch down in a few bite and turned to head back home. The whole time she was completely unaware that 2 furbals were beginning to grow inside her.
