Bella smiled slyly at Kavok. What a player he was, but she liked it. The likes of pampered Reciao and myself? One has to be distraught in the head to like our company. She smirked, sharing a knowing glance with the fluffy dog in front of her. Reciao growled calmly in understanding, crossing her tiny paws as she turned her head toward Kavok. She watched as his gaze turned to the hound, then the dark mutt. Haven't seen any corgi around here. She spoke without turning around, her curled tail flicking at an invisible fly out of boredom. Bella did not answer the basset hound. If she had had any information she would have given it up, but seeing as she didn't, why say anything? Exactly. The white beauty yawned sharply, stretching one of her legs. It was the one she had hurt earlier in the week from being stupid. The memory made her chuckle quite loudly. Reciao remembered the whole scene. It made her laugh right along with Bella. Quickly, though, Reciao gained her composure.

A P O L L O
Apollo’s lips pursed, and he made a very human like noise, clicking emitted from his jaws as he pondered this basset hound’s question. Such a sad thought, he’d been used to taking several trips out to a dump or two for food when he was at his old home for scraps came at a simple handful about once a week. So he was often very hungry. It wasn’t their fault they didn’t have enough money for kibble, I mean they bred like bunny rabbits.
He sighed and shook his head,
“I saw a regular corgi, except in an entire town back. I actually just came to these areas, though I’ll let you know if I see an oddly marked Corgi.” He said softly, sympathy high in his voice. It was such a shame to have a family member lost, he wouldn’t really know for he was the family member lost. Though he doubted that rabid family missed him much.
C A M S E Y A compact aussie slowly jumped out from the bed of the new, black pick up her family bought along with their new house. Harlow was a somewhat amusing neighbor hood so far. It reeked of wild dogs, the ones he wished she could go meet, but there was one thing in between her meeting those dogs she longed to nip at; a fence, a big, white fence, one that had a gate only opened by human paws. She couldn’t jump the fence because her collar would send her into a small state of shock if she did, quiet literally actually. Her family installed a fence under the dirt of electricity! That was the only way to keep their rambunctious prized possession in. ”You stay there,” A man called, pointing to the dog park, “I’m leaving you for a few minutes, I have to go over there. But you stay here.” He said pointing. His dog knew what he meant, of that he was sure. “Now go play.” He called pointing out into the open yard and he turned swiftly and briskly walked to a supply store across the street from the dog park. Upon dismissal Camsey turned quickly and was off, running swiftly down the hill she barreled past the tree a few times, running laps around the park and herding a pack of toy dogs, the dogs of course, didn’t like that one bit. They snapped and snarled at Camsey, but she simply let out a happy giggle and continued herding them. A few minutes later, they were all in a small squashed circle. Satisfied by her work, she lifted her head high and trotted to the tree for some shade. “Hi!” She said ever cheerfully to the dogs. A small southern accent in her tone. The basset turned her soulful gaze on the German shepherd and offered him a genial smile, her tongue dangling partially from her jaws at his words, "Not at all, sir, nothing to be sorry about. He always gets himself into trouble, I'm afraid." Tipping her head she followed the flow of answers almost absently taking in the small fluffy dog who seemed mostly caught up in herself, and her world. She nodded amicably enough, "I'm not surprised." She agreed. She paused for a moment to gaze at the large white female, nodding her head politely. She understood full well the uses of silence.
Finally she brought her doe brown eyes back around to the stray she had been addressing and gave him a another wide smile, "Thank you ever so, sir." She said, her voice completely sincere in its gratitude. "My humans very worried about him, and I must admit I am as well. Jerry's a scamp, always getting into trouble." She eyed the scruffy male almost shrewdly, her open happy expression diminishing a bit before it returned full force. "My human worries about the strays, you know." She said off handedly. "There's always plenty to eat at home." These two sentences could seemed completely innocuous and discordant, as though Tipsy was merely simple, and spouting off random things as they floated into her head. The fact was, that if you took them the right way there had meaning, and invitation.
Tipsy's human always bought an excess of kibble and left some out for the strays when she could.
"Thank you all for your help, please do give Jerry a nip if you do see him, and tell him its from me. Better yet, boot him home? I live with my human in a small house on Pheonix Avenue." It was about then that a loud rousing chorus of excited sounds exploded across the serenity of the gathering, Tipsy immediately stood looking a hopeful. Her dear friend could always cause a ruckus without even trying, perhaps he'd come here to find her? But, alas, it was a stranger she'd never seen upsetting the small dogs. Tipsy's ears drooped lower, and she sat back down averting her gaze off to the side to watch a dandelion bowing amongst the grass; there were few overt signs of her sadness.
Giving a jaw popping yawn she allowed her short front legs to skid across the grass, flopping down with her head between her legs, long ears falling out to either side of her. Droopy brown eyes drifted to half mast, and it almost seemed as if the hound was going to fall asleep. When the rowdy dog bounced over, Tipsy cracked one eye back open perking floppy ear slightly and offering a low wuff in greeting.

Kavok once again laughed heartily at Bella, More like distraught in the head not to like company with the likes of you. He turned back to see the stray give the basset the same answer all the rest had given her. He couldn't help but tell himself that the little corgi probably wouldn't be coming home anytime soon at all. He smiled and looked back at the female dogs as he noticed a small sheepdog run over and speak in a thickly accented voice. Well, look, ladies. We've got a beautiful southern belle joining us! Told you it was my lucky day.
He smiled at the young aussie sheepdog, shooting her that same 'you-me-alley?' look before once more setting his sights on the small hound. She requested them send her friend home if they ran across him, and then had quickly shot her eyes upward as if she'd heard him. That was always the worst feeling, thinking there's another step on the staircase, only to find you flat on your face on a cheap, imitation oriental rug.
The sheperd stood up, mentally shaking off all of his fliratious ways and made his way over to the droopy eyed dog. He looked directly down on her, thus being a size difference, and placed a gentle lick on her head. He smiled, a crooked gesture of sympathy and hope.

Bella ignored Kavok as he stood up and over the Aussie that had just joined them. "Seems we are getting quite the group, huh, Reciao?" she growled sternly, standing up herself. The Canaan tilted her head. Kavok was a huge flirt, but wasn't she? Bella laughed cautiously, drawing her pink tounge over her shoulder to smoothe down the fur. Reciao tilted her head in response, looking at the gorgeous Aussie. She was domestic, and pretty. Reciao sniffed in defiance, whipping her head around so she couldn't look at her. Bella laughed, poking her nose at the Pomeranian. "Jealous?" she whispered. Reciao glared at her and trotted away in anger. She'd be back though, Bella knew it. The white beauty was growing bored with her new companions, and wanted to take a walk. Not alone though, for some reason. Pondering her tree mates her, she decided it wasn't worth it. Rolling her shoulders, Bella picked herself up and trotted off toward her owner, who was sitting in a group of several ladies. The one that caught her eye was Reciao's owner. Turning away, she wandered off toward the fountain that the mutt had taken a dip in.

C A M S E Y
The always bouncing ball of pure adrenaline and fluff, slowly settled down, sitting on her rump and allowing her body to quiver with the excitement of rounding up those toy dogs. If only there were some sheep, or cows around here then she’d have a really good time. Camsey’s geometrical split eyes grazed over the dogs before her, taking in all of their faces greedily; like a hungry pup would gobble down milk. The charming black male was the first to speak to her, golly was he a looker.
“Why thank you handsome.” She cooed back her accent drawling through her words as they seeped from her maw. If she’d been a human her face would have been redder than a rose.
Camsey’s eyes caught a small Pomeranian stomp off; her body shook as she tried to control the urge of running out and rounding her up as well. Finding it hard to control herself, she turned her face forward to flee the necessitate of herding. “My name’s Camsey.” She called out, her eyes radiant in the rays of the sun. This was a nice neighborhood, she could get used to this. She sat back, snapping her jaws in the air like she was ridding the air of bugs. Camsey was a real charming odd ball now wasn’t she?A P O L L O Apollo’s nose twitched slightly at the sight of such a beautiful aussie. Call him conceited or egotistical; whatever, but he could look that perfect too! All primped up and combed to perfection, though that female didn’t carry that haughty look about her most house pets did, she carried a calm sense of being, though he could sense she didn’t belong in the city. Sighing he looked to the basset hound. “I’m sorry about your friend ma’am. May I get your name in case I see this Jerry, just so he knows exactly who nipped him.” He said in a soft tone. He watched her with his dull russet eyes.
She had it made; extra food out for strays, and then not to mention and owner who actually gives a damn about a lost pet or not. She was lucky to have such a caring owner; he’d give anything to have a house like that. Yet he couldn’t say anything, he’d be a traitor to strays. The strays were his family now; he couldn’t deceive them.

The low droning buzz of a bumblebee sounding soothingly close next to her head, the shifting rays of sunlight and shadow spotted her hide offering comfortable warmth without being overly hot. That is, until a large shadow cut across the sun shine and and fell over. Tipsy opened her doe brown eyes slowly, blinking them once or twice; almost as though she were waking up. Her first visual was of massive black paws. Her head slowly lifted, as a tongue fled over her brow causing the loose skin to wrinkle, and the basset to give a soft amused laugh. Her tail flopped back and forth in a jovial sort of way; it felt nice to have some company. Without Jerry she spent most of her days alone lazing around the house, or on the porch.
Tilting her head back she gaze up, and up, and up at the dark furred male and gave him one of her customary gape jawed grins. Silently thanking him for his support, it was always nice to know that there were those out there willing to help; the world wasn't a lost cause.
Her baleful gaze drifted over toward the Aussie, and she snuffed slightly in amusement at the air of anticipation that vibrated around the pretty creature. It was similar to Jerry in a way, the little horror was always ready for a game.
Tipsy's attention was recaptured by the scruffy male though, and her eyes crinkled, tongue poking out briefly in a good natured look. The next moment her head was tipping to the side, jaws closing with a quiet snap then parting soundlessly for a moment as though in surprise, "I... Oh dear, how terribly rude of me." Blinking slowly she licked her tongue over her nose head drooping downward, she brought a stout fore paw up, clasping it over the top of her muzzle; her long ears sliding forward to form a sort of curtain around her. It all added up to make her look rather abashed and embarrassed. Lifting her head again slightly her eyes peered out at them all, her voice lightly muffled when she spoke, "I'm sorry. My name's Tipsy."

Kavok smiled down on the little basset as she gave him a thankful expression in regards to his licking gesture. He sat down, tail thumping against the grass and turned back to the little farm girl, who was not only openly flattered, but somewhat embarrassed. Pleasure's all mine, dollface. My name's Kavok. The shepherd grinned, white canines showing in their criss-crossed jawset.
He turned to see the pomeranian stalk off in a somewhat fed up manner and he cocked his head, wondering whatever had upset her so much. He looked back at the basset, who had introduced herself as Tipsy, and he smiled. Such a strange little name for such a strange little dog. He then saw Bella, the canaan dog, walk over to the fountain. Everyone seemed to be dispersing rather quickly, but he was sure he'd be the last to leave.

Reciao&&Bella Reciao was not about to be put under a Basset hound and an Aussie, no matter how pretty she was. Turning around, she stalked back over to the group. She noticed that Bella was missing, and scanned the area for her. She didn't have to look very far, because the white Canaan was heading over. It wasn't like Bella to loose a fight that easily, and it had apparently gotten to her. She was used to having all of the attention, and wasn't about to be shoved aside. "Kavok," she smiled sweetly as she plopped herself back in her spot by the trunk of the tree. "Why don't you tell me a little bit about your work with the humans." Reciao sniffed in laughter. She trotted over and sat beside Camsey, finding it hard not to stare at her eyes. She gasped slightly as she looked at their abnormality.

Apollo, already laid down by the time the females stalked back to the group, reared up quickly as the Canaan dog almost stepped on him to plop down and gawk at Kavok. He grumbled as she sat down, and slowly allowed his paws to slip back down onto the grass, to a comfortable sleeping position. Like Tipsy, he was bored. Amber pools of unadulterated ennui flooded over the other dogs, grasping what was happening rather quickly, which vaguely surprised him. All of these females; besides the basset and possibly the Aussie were falling all over Kavok, a simple German Sheppard! Oh wait, he worked with those decrypted humans. Maybe if he worked with humans he’d be flattered like him, and have females flocking to him…
His lifeless eyes finally worked his way over to the bashful female, Tipsy. He smiled an authentic smile, which made him concerned he hadn’t honestly smiled in a long time. “Tipsy, that’s unique.”
He breathed softly; not wanting to ruin the small bond of silence between the two.
Stretching his forepaws forward, Apollo grunted as he reached maximum expansion. Satisfied, he crossed his forepaws and set his rugged head down on them, his long scraggly tail flicking back and forth left over water droplets splashing anyone in the area near his rear. “I’m Apollonios; so you know who Apollo is if I send Jerry home.” He smiled softly, not meaning any harm in the joke. Simply wishing to converse with someone, for the other dogs were all too hung up that he was a stray (at least the Pomeranian was).
Camsey felt rather out of place as the two females stalked back, looking rather miffed. She sighed and looked over the large white dog; gorgeous, just like every other housedog here. She could be the only dog owned that ever lived a full life outdoors. Thank god the family had a spacious backyard with a large chlorinated pond (pool) and a doghouse for her to sleep in when she didn’t want to sleep indoors, which happened a lot at her new home.
The ball of fur that stammered back plopped down beside her. She couldn’t help but feel a bit envious of her; she was groomed to perfection and very cute. Camsey’s unusual eyes glanced over the Pomeranian fondly. “Y’all know each other real good?” she questioned softly, prying her eyes from the ball of beauty and glancing over everyone, including them all in the question.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

A shout came rolling across the field, and Tipsy's ears immediately went up; listening intently. It had sounded like her human. After a moment she could see her human walking around, calling out and looking around. She supposed that meant it was time to head off. Standing up Tipsy turned back to the little stray drifting over she nudged his shoulder lightly with her wet nose, smiling pleasantly at him, "It was nice meeting you Apollo, perhaps you'll stop by sometime? It'd be nice to have company, I think, and the front porch is a wonderful sunny place." Nudging his shoulder again faintly, she seemed unconcerned by the few spatters of dirty water that fell to speckle her red and white hide.
Turning her eyes on the other dogs she nodded to each in turn, "It was a pleasure to meet you all, hopefully this will not be the last time we see each other." Her tail gave a few swishing wags before she turned and began to trot toward her human, tail flicking back and forth. Really, humans were so hopeless at finding each other! Shaking her head slightly she bounced up to the woman's side, wuffing softly to get her attention. The woman laughed, reaching down to ruffle the hound's ears before walking toward the exit. Tipsy strolled along at her side, pausing once to look back at the gathering of dogs beneath the tree.
It hadn't been such a bad day, really. Her tongue slid forward, a bit of pink among the folds of her mouth before she turned, and followed after her human, disappearing around a cluster of shrubbery.
------
OoC: I figured I'd pull her out, since all she'd end up doing would probably be snoozing, and I couldn't think of anything else to post. -laugh.-
Exit Tipsy, stage right!

Kavok was pleased to see both of his original female companions return, and his tail began another steady sweep from side to side and he settled himself back into his spot near them. The grass was smashed where his body had been and he positioned himself back in the little indention he'd made. He smiled at the white dog's question and became very excited. He was thrilled to get to explain his work, for he thoroughly enjoyed it. Well, I do a variety of jobs. I protect my owner from attackers, sniff out 'drugs', whatever those are, find lost people... Lots of things!
His tail was now making an erratic horizontal motion as he vaguely mentioned his job's highlights, allowing them to ask for elaboration if they wanted it. The shepherd spoke again and he turned back to her to answer her question as well, No, ma'am, I've just met you all by chance here.

Really? Isn't that dangerous sometimes? You could get hurt, Kavok Bella was throwing on her sweet, innocent clothes. Keeping the attention on her, she flicked her tail and waited for an answer. She shot the Aussie a dangerous look. Bella hadn't even really spoken to her, but she wasn't about to let her take the Shepard's attention. Don't you ever get tired of that? Or is it exciting. The white Canaan glanced at the Aussie as she asked her question. All of us come here once in a while. It's by chance that we come across one another. Turning back to Kavok, she smiled sweetly, her amber eyes glowing.

Apollo was caught off guard as the beautiful basset was called away; he let out a dejected groan in smooth protest of her leaving. But he doubted she would stay, because the long short canine was up, floppy ears once limp now perked about, as high as such baggy ears would rise. His attention diverted from his only acquaintance here as she stood, thinking that she would be off on those stubby legs any second; so he was very surprised to feel a moist snout nudge him. He looked up it was her, though he didn’t quite think the Pomeranian would even get so close as to touch him with her tail, let alone her nose. Smiling up to her, the droopy-eyed dog offered to let him visit, he nodded silently. As she left his mind worked avid circles around what she’d said- perhaps he would come over.
His russet eyes followed her as she wandered to her master, ears and loose skin flopping around. A small smile stayed plastered on his maw, he’d gained a friend. That was enough to make him smile for a day.
Apollonios turned his oblique thoughts back to the dogs around him, still stuck on that dog. Maybe he just had to be nice to gain friends, sure any dog knew that but why be nice when you weren’t treated nice? He sighed once more and laid his scruffy maw down on his crossed forepaws, wishing to take a small slumber. Though there was one thing wrong with the situation at hand, and he just couldn’t close his eyes to get away from the unfolding drama. Apollo, being the innocent bystander he occasionally is, took in the glances from female to female. Fighting over a male, he couldn’t help but chuckle softly as the large white dog gave a vicious look at the southern dog, supposedly named Camsey.
His worn away smile once washed from his expressions as he watched this real life doggy soap opera, slowly clambered upon his maw as he grasped the situation. “Someone’s jealous.” He cooed in a charming voice, his amber eyes locked on the large Canaan dog.
Camsey saw the threatening glance, and gasped softly. “By golly, I’ve never met a ruder dog in all my life!” She exclaimed, not able to rid her voice of it’s accent even when serious. Her maw parted slightly still stunned that such a creature would be so rude, oh the words she would say to her if such a charming male had not been there; most females acted very kind around males, they didn’t try to hide such rude gestures because they never made them. But when the males were gone, normally the two females could go at it for hours but that was in the country where she was. A soft growl touched her lips, snagging them up over her teeth. She looked very intimidating for such a beautiful dog.
Split eyes gleamed dangerously in the sunlight that danced overhead, which was occasionally covered with a cloud for a few seconds the shadows grabbed Camsey’s attention, like a mad master would grab a collar. Her lip fell down as a shadow cast across the ground, her body shook softly and her jaws clamped shut, a whine emitting. She smiled and was off, rounding up the shadows and then a few more toy dogs. Sighing the shadows disappeared and she trotted back, snapping at a few bugs on the way. “Sorry ‘bout that folks!”
She exclaimed in an exceptionally jolly tone.
“But like I was saying,” the herding dog slowly got to her paws, not faltering one second “I don’t want your mate so stop trying to be all intimidating when I don’t even want him. Sure he’s very handsome, but it’s not proper to steal a male from another female.” She said, her head held high in the air with happiness. Plopping down in silent satisfaction her beautiful eyes locked with the Canaan dog, then with Kavok.
At least she had some manners.

Kavok's lips parted, gums shining as the female showed interest in his career. He grinned like a pup, ears perked upward, and he began speaking once again, Oh, its a thrill! Dangerous? Just a little, I wear a vest so they can't shoot me.
At the stray's words his eyes widened lightly, ears turning to the side, mouth hanging open slightly. His tongue retreated into his mouth and he whispered, Oh, ladies, ladies. Calm down now. Miss Southern Belle, I'm not her mate. And Miss Bella, I'm sure the little thing meant no harm. There's enough of me to go around.
He added, laughing, trying to lighten the mood. He wasn't sure if this would work, but the gleeful shepherd didn't have any other paths to try.
