She whipped around, fury blazing in her eyes. The blue one burned like ice and the green one like acid.
That I'd like to what?!Become some stupid femme who falls in love, just to be thrown away like some... thing?!Don't act like every single femme in the world is infatuated with you!
she yowled. At that moment, her eyes slowly died away, and her eyes closed. Her legs buckled, and she collapsed, her legs tucked beneath her. Salty tears fell to the ground.
You don't know what it's like on the other side. When you love someone, but they...
she said it so that he thought she was talking about Darthyn. No, se was trying to convince herself she was talking about Darthyn. She was talking about Kavok, and she didn't even know it. She looked back up at him.
-they don't love you back.

Kavok's smile did indeed fade, something that rarely happens. He slowed his gallop to a walk and put his tail down into a slump, he walked to her, panting. I would...er...love you back. While he said the words with a sincerity, Kavok had never truly loved but perhaps been loved. He was a young dog who went from female to female, charming the paws off of them but never staying around too much. This particular bitch, however, was authentically upset.
He frowned now, walking a little closer to her before laying on his stomach and looking up, licking her on the chin. He expected some sort of retribution for his move of affection, and so he winced, allowing her to do what she would with him for that simple sign of friendship.

She felt a wet, soothing feeling on her chin. Without opening her eyes, she could tell it was Kavok. She listened to his words, but was it true, or was he just telling her what she wanted to hear? But she didn't care. She began to lick his chest fur in a rhythmic motion, slowly falling asleep. There she lay, now on her side, head rested on Kavoks chest. She was a mound of fur, bathed in silver moonlight. She managed to squeeze out a few words.Ones she thought she would never use,
I love...
She didn't finish. She was asleep.
~Morning~
Morning light found its way through the trees, and birdsong played over and over. She lay there, very still, except for the gentle rise and fall of her sides, and her head, which did this because Kavoks chest did the same. She let out a snort inn her sleep, and her paws twitched.

Kavok had also fallen asleep, as he couldn't just get up and leave when the female seemed so relaxed with him. When he finally did wake up the next morning he found her quietly asleep beside him and he raised a brow. Yawning, he took a quick sweep around before standing. Very slowly, he slid out from her grasp and made his way back towards where he'd wrecked... Well where the empty car had wrecked with him.
Feet padded over the broken glass as he continued down the street and into the distance, first things first. He was going to the department to see if any other humans were there. And there he would be given a new partner, little did he know, that human would quickly disappear as well.

Huh? Where am I? The forest? But why? Oh wait... There was Kavok.. Kavok! Where is he?
Ariana awoke with a jolt. It was true, the place where Kavok had been sleeping was still warm, so he couldn't have left too long ago. She heaved her tired self to her paws, and stretched the numbness from them. She walked evenly, and realized her leg was better. She gingerly tested it.
Kavok?
she called. No answer.
Kavok? Where are you?
she called again, but then she realized he was really that kind of guy.
Hello, Mr.Heartache... I've been expecting you...
He was gone. She had fallen for it. He had lied to her. Her pain tunred into agony, and her agony to anger, her ager to rage. He had told her to get close to her.She should have known. But, he didn't get everything. She simply told him 'I love you', or at least, she thought she did. Really though, she must've been too sad that Darthyn would never love her, that she had thought she loved him.

Kavok was a quick one on his feet, and despite the fact that he'd only just recently left Ariana, he was now returning. His cut feet left little bloody paw prints, but he felt no pain in them now through the callouses that adorned them. He had been to the department, assigned a new partner, and then set into his kennel. Escaping, he decided he should probably return to the wolf-dog bitch he'd met last night. After all, he was determined to have her at least once.
He returned, carrying a milkweed in his mouth. It was the only flower he could find on his way, and he hoped she would be satisfied with it, after all it was the thought that counted. He approached quickly and found her in the same spot as he'd left her only she was awake. Morning, beautiful. Here. He tossed the flower at her with a grin, some of the white blooms falling off as he did so.

You were going to leave, weren't you?You don't care about me, do you?
she woofed. Her voice was a high-pitched whisper, monotone. She had her back to him, her eyes wide. At this moment, she seemed like she had escaped a mental instution. It seemed like she was talking to herself.
'Kavok, your so charming!''Kavok mate with me!'I wouldn't be surprised if that's all you've ever heard in your life.Well not from me. Not if this keeps happening. I expect to wake up to someone I love, and not an empty space. I expect someone to not go around mating with other femmes if I'm going to mate with them. I want someone to care for me and not just love me so they can have their fun with me, and trow me away.
she growled, her mood now changing. If she had a mood ring, it would be black with anger. She knew his plan. This stuff had happened before. Except that dog had gotten what he wanted, and left. If Kavok wanted to mate, he would have to have one mate, and only one. He would have to stay. But she knew that that would never happen in a million years. She was now staring at him with a look that said: Why?.

Needless to say, Kavok was becoming somewhat 'freaked out' by the female's strange accusations and behavoirs. Perhaps, he thought with a tinge of pity, she'd been mistreated by males before. He smiled, ignoring her mock of what was really Kavok's personality. He'd known the female for a day now, and decided he'd like to have a go with her as well.
Now, now, hush there. I had no intentions of leaving you. He crooned, moving closer to let his dark fur blend with her cooler tones. I don't throw anyone away.
Kavok smiled again, that charming and dashing smile. He really hoped she'd calm down, and soon. Jittery, accusing, hateful females were not on his list of desired. Wolfish, wild, and feral stray females were. In due time, he'd see which side prevailed for him.
((ooc: well you wanted me to post. o.o without muse... here it is... sucky lol.))

Ari looked at the dog.He was handsome, she'd give him that. She licked him on the cheek, and then buried her nose in his fur.Was he truly going to stay? She rubbed her cheek against his and let out a soft 'chirrup'. She took a step back and looked into his eyes.
Um... I don't know how to put this... do you want to....?
she asked, blushing beneath her coat.

Well, of course Kavok did not plan on staying. It wasn't that he was a bad guy, but this was just his game. His style. What he did. And never before had he ever encountered any type of hole in the road or problems with this way of life. That was, Kavok had no idea he was already almost a father, and would soon be one again. He smiled at her, not answering her question verbally but licking her cheek in return. His tail continued to sway in a dramatic motion. Slowly, a typical drama was building up for him. And it would be his demise.
Kavok smiled at her apologetically, shaking his fur out as he sighed, staring up at the mottled sky between leaves. I'm sorry, Ari, but I have got to get back to work. I will seek you out later. His eyes were eager and enerest, leaving her with no doubt he would indeed find her again and he trotted away on the hot highway towards the Harlow Police Department.
