Xavier padded along the riverbank, letting his huge paws sink into the sand. He loved the river, it being much more relaxing, and there was a good chance of meeting someone here.
it was really quite surprising that the very antisocial great Dane even wanted company, usually refraining from any contact with other beings. But today had been such an uneventful day that he was up for almost anything.
He finally found a nicely shade spot and lay down, lapping up a bit of water before resting his dark silver head on his paws. His icy blue eyes surveying the premises, hoping that some living thing would appear.
Xavier's eyes shot open, and he lifted his head. He had heard something, and smelt it, and it seem as though it may just be a dog. When he saw nothing, he heaved a sigh, and resumed his former position.

As the sun arose early in the morning it’s bright rays rained down upon an aussie laying half out of a large dog house, obviously home made. A deep sigh escaped the seemingly asleep canine as the sun’s light touched her pelt. Groaning in irritation the female slowly stood, arching her back to the point where a loud crack of her spine could be heard, then she appeared satisfied. Shaking swiftly the multi-colored aussie romped out of her dog house she called home, and directly through her home’s doggy door. As she entered the home she was greeted with the glorious sight of an empty food dish. Camsey’s auds perked slightly as she wandered around the house her nails clicking along the linoleum flooring as she exited the kitchen and skidded into the living room; hmm it looked like everybody had left for their work places already.
Slinking out the front doggy-door she approached the snow-white picket fence, as she did this the small box attached to her collar beeped, signaling she was too far, growling lowly she backed up a few paces. ’Get ready’ she told herself as her legs pushed off of the brick path; sending her agile frame over the fence with a painful electric shock. A small whine escaped her lips as she passed the invisible fence in the air, landing the shock vanished. A smug smile crept upon her jowls as she trotted proudly down the street and towards the outer edge of her new neighborhood.
Finally the femme found herself strolling around in some part of the woods, catching a few scents but letting them slip through her brain without a care in the world. The naïve young female slowly came upon a dark male yet very handsome. Though she was on the other side of the stream she swiftly pranced to a rock, her tongue lolling from her jowls as she found a place for her paws as she swiftly moved across the stream without getting one droplet of water on her soft pelt.
Trotting up the sandy bank she lowered her head significantly showing she meant no harm, as her neck extended so she could sniff the male from a safe distance. After figuring out a few things about him she spun twice before walking out her forepaws and settling her rear on the sand.
“Morning, sir.” Her sweet voice laced with that unbreakable Southern accent.

Xavier raised his head, his ears pricked. The sound and smell of a dog approaching was unmistakable. He was about to get up, when he heard
"Good Morning, Sir."
he got up and saw who the voice belonged to. "Morning to you too. I'm Xavier." He said, rather quietly. He surveyed the beautiful sheepdog with the cute southern accent.
He liked this dog, perhaps more than he had any other dog. It wasn't love, because the idea of love at 1st sight was a pups fantasy. But she seemed trustworthy.
He finally decided to let his guard down, sitting down with an very audible thud. His tail wagged slightly. Perhaps he would finally make a friend. He then noticed her eyes. They were unique, unlike anything he had ever seen, but they were beautiful. "Your eyes are lovely" He said, then came to full terms with what he said and looked down..

Camsey’s split eyes flicked over the rampaging waters with great admiration. She noticed small minnows floating in pools and couldn’t help but let her young mind wander, how did fish talk? Did they take baths too? She allowed her forepaws to pull her body closer to the water, as her back legs pushed softly to slide her belly along the sand.
As she reached the waters edge her eyes once more looked about the rippling waters; as he spoke she let the sound echo throughout her mind, he had a charming voice that was for sure. Ignoring him for the meanwhile she dipped her forepaw in the water, chasing the minnows around almost cat-like. Giggling softly she rolled to her back exposing her tummy and stretched her forepaws into the air before letting them dangle near her chest as her back legs scrunched up near her hips.
She glanced over to the brute before sighing helplessly;
“I’m Camsey, who’re you?” She added her rump shaking in growing excitement. Swiftly she flipped onto her feet and shook her pelt free of the sand, and moved over towards the male sniffing around his rear before sitting in front of him and moving onto her side; thinking that he like humans could offer the amazing sensation of belly rubs.

He watched the femme, as she headed toward the water . He had to refrain from laughing as she rolled around like a pup. She was beautiful, and seemed, for the most part, sweet. He was, however, not all that good with the femmes, not being good with dogs all round.
He continued to watch her, as she circled him and sat down. She spoke again, this time it was
“I’m Camsey, who’re you?”
'Camsey' he though to himself 'A beautiful name for a beautiful dog.' at that point, he had to nip himself mentally. What had gotten into him? This dog seemed nice, but she could very well be the enemy.
"Xavier. You owned or stray" he asked her, though judging by the brightness and cleanliness of her coat and her smell, she was a housepet.

Camsey watched the brute deliberate her inquiry then fork out his own name. ’Hmm Xavier, what a lovely name’ she thought sweetly; cocking her head softly to the side as her ear slid in front of her forehead with this simple movement. Her innocent smile stayed plastered upon her maw in utter beauty. She couldn’t help but be so naïve; the only truly unbearable thing she’d ever witnessed was a dogfight, and she’s been in one or two.
Gently she nuzzled his throat affectionately, and to sniff him quickly, holding the scent in incase she needed it later, which she doubted. She looked him over, deciding that he, as clean as he was, lived life as a stray.
“I’m a house pet, but I haven’t always been cooped up in a house, pampered with clothes and such. I used to be an agility dog; a pure herding dog.” She announced proudly, her head lifting a bit higher in her state of happiness.
Sighing a long-drawn out exhale she glance the brute over once more; “You’re not going to kill me because I’m a house pet right?” She questioned lying on her side once more and glancing at the greenery near her head, snapping at a branch playfully her nub of a tail flicked back and forth in joy. “Want to play?” she asked hopefully. Eyes lighting up with pure delight.

He listened to her cute little accent, nodding as she spoke. When she nuzzled his neck, he couldn't help but get butterflies in his stomach.
When she asked if he would kill her, he laughed softly. "No, No. Not unless I really have to, and even then, I would be able to kill you. And as to playing, aren't you worried about me hurting you?" He asked, genuinely concerned. He had never been on for playing, even though he was still a pup. Normally, he disliked pups, but this dogs, whether she was a pup or just acting like it, seemed worth keeping around.
He got up, looking down at her. But, not wanting to look imposing, he sat back down, his bright blue eyes curious.

Camsey giggled, leaping up from her side and rearing up on her back paws somewhat like a cat would. Growling softly she allowed her small paws to rest upon his chest, holding himself up as her maw licked away at his features a sure sign of affection.
“I don’t think you could hurt anyone! You’re too nice.” She said between gentle licks to her new buddy Xavier’s face.
Smiling happily she backed off of the dog only to roll on the back, grinding her back deep into the sand. Growling happily she allowed her tummy to be exposed as her forepaws reached up, pressing his body with them as she pushed herself into a play stance, rump high in the air as her maw split into a beautiful grin, one full of young nature and doused in happiness.
How one dog new to the whole backyard life could be so upbeat was impossible to understand. Though it could be that she channels her stress through running, and her oddities that she calls her ‘lovelies’ simply making herself feel better about her flaws.

He smiled, standing over her, his tail thumping furiously. He crouched down, so he was eye-to-eye with her, and procedded to give her a friendly lick right between her eyes.
He hovered right above the ground, waiting to see what she'd do. He'd never really played as pups do before. But her personality make him wish he had actually acted like a puppy in his puphood, for now he was close to adulthood. "Do you like being owned?" he asked curiously
Without waiting for an answer, he gentley pushed her over with a huge paw, and once again stood over her.

Camsey allowed him to gently lick between her eyes; closing them to avoid any tongue to eye contact. Smiling and giggling merrily she wiggled her rump happily as he asked her the question she nodded and proceeded to answer his inquiry.
“I love being owned.” She added to her yes, before ruthlessly being flipped over. Growling a soft playful growl her paws pushed up against his chest, as he stood high above her.
Growling happily she flipped over and stood up; being able to stand between his legs. Yet something didn’t feel right; why was this position so awkward to her? OH my! She quickly leapt from between his legs realizing stupidly that that was the courting position. She felt rather embarrassed and looked to the sand beneath her paws, clawing at it anxiously.
“Sorry.” She whispered softly, glancing up at him pleading for him not to be mad at her.

He looked at her as she spoke, saying that she loved being owned. He couldn't imagine what it was like. Perhaps it wasn't as bad as the other strays made it out to be.
When she got up, standing between his front legs, he tilted his head, unsure of what she was doing. He finally, as she quickly scrambled out from beneath him, that she was just playing around, and it was an innocent mistake.
He looked at her, smiling at her apology. "It's fine." He said,giving her ear a reassuring lick. "Being owned seems a bit...I dunno. I like having my freedom, but it must be nice, not having to worry about whether you'll have food and shelter or not."

Camsey calmed down a bit, obviously embarrassed. She always made herself be put into awkward situations; like the whole Darius incident. Upon that note her eyes wandered over the brute, up his back leg and up elsewhere. She couldn’t help it, she felt so dirty seeing not one but two! Sighing she laid down near the bank; allowing the sand to stick to her pelt as her maw pushed out in the opposite direction so she didn’t have to be too embarrassed and have to look at him too.
Especially after sneaking a peak at his... ‘Manhood’. All of this was coming on too quickly; maybe she should become a nun or something she was pure enough to be one so far that was for sure. But would they accept tainted goods the way she was now? Constantly being flagged by males and given suggestive speeches or looks; she didn’t know what they meant but surely they had something wrong with them the way the males would wink as soon as they cracked a joke or two.
Sighing the embarrassed femme glanced back at his face and elsewhere; shunning herself mentally before turning her eyes out to the softly flowing water, oh how she wished she were a minnow. Then if you happened to glance there you could say you were looking at their scales or tail…

Xavier sighed, laying down next to her, his huge silver head atop his paws. Was she so embarrased that she wasn't going to speak to him? He hoped not, for he had come to quite enjoy her company. He turned his head slightly, gazing as the water.
After a few minutes, which seemed like a few lifetimes, of neither of them speaking, he deceided to break it. "It's okay, you know. Really. It was obviously an innocent mistake. I wouldn't want to do something like that with you." he said, then quickly realised she could take that to offence. "Not that you're not beautiful, or anything, because you are! I mean, I just met you and..." he trailed off, embarrased at his choice of words.
Desperate to get his mind of his last words, he came up with another, not akward, plan. "It's hot, how about a swim?" He asked, looking at the femmes beautiful face.

Camsey’s eyes shut as he trailed on and on. She sighed; so he’d obviously not seen the glances to his ermm... package. Finally he suggested swimming and she got up;
“Sure come on I know the perfect place!” She exhaled, trailing down the line of the creek bed expecting him to follow quickly.
Smiling her tongue lolled happily from her jaws as she loped down to a waterfall, where a large pool laid under the waterfall was worn out. Smiling she looked at him. “We have to jump on the count of three.” She added with a loud giggle; it wasn’t too deep; possibly nine feet, with a three-foot drop from where they were into the water.[/blockquote][/blockquote] -----x-----x-----Crappy. He got up quickly, glad that there was no more awkwardness. He trotted after her, his paws making faint traces of his huge paws in the soft earth.
When they reached their destination, Xavier looked over the edge. It wasn't too high, especially for a dog of his size. He looked at her, wondering if he should count.
'How'd you know about this place?" He asked the sheepdog. He hadn't expected a house pet to know her way around so well. But, who was he to judge? He may seem mean and ferocious at 1st glance, but if you talked to him it was quite obvious that this was not the case.
He turned back to the Fae, giving her a lick on the ear. "Scared?" He said teasingly. "1.." he began.
{Occ//: Shall I have him break a bone of something? It sounds quite fun.}
