Winter
It is early winter, and, although the snows have yet to come, the air, as well as the lakes and streams, is tainted with a sharp chill. There is little wind, so the air feels cold and brittle, like a thin sheet of glass that will shatter at any moment. The sun still shines from behind a few wispy clouds, but it offers little warmth to Alaska's canine residents.

The Top Dogs
Enter Harlow Heights; among towering street lamps, across deserted parking lots, in the deep untouched forest, live two packs of wild dogs. But these aren't just any dogs. The Central Urban dogs were once beloved house pets, but an unforgiving disease took the lives of their owners and all the humans in town, and they were left alone to fend for themselves. Many years ago, the feral dogs of Harlow Heights took to the forests and formed a pack of their own, the Evergreen Forest Pack. Now, boundaries are being threatened and territories invaded. Do you have the courage to seek out these mighty packs, or will you run home to your housefolk with your tail between your legs? If you think you can survive the wilds of the concrete jungle, we welcome you to join us, here at Onto The Streets.

The Meadows These vast meadows are covered in long grasses, perfect hiding places for small prey and perfect food for large prey. Herds of deer come here to graze very often, making it a great hunting place. Moderator: Maybe ♫

Maple Forest A small forest of predominantly maple trees. It is shady, the trees' branches obscuring the sunlight and giving the ground a sun dappled look in the day time. It is a good hunting ground for small prey. Moderators: Maybe ♫, Kroobie

Wildflower Field Hidden from the main fields by a small forest of maple trees is a little clearing brimming with wildflowers of every color imaginable. It is a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the sunshine. Moderators: Maybe ♫, Kroobie

Central Harlow Heights ;;
The Warehouse >> (2 sub-boards) Once a large furniture warehouse, this abandoned building is now the camp of the Central Urban Pack. The roof is leaky and the floor creaks, but there are comfortable couches, beds, and recliners for all. If only the dogs were able to pull out the foot rests on the recliners... Pheonix Avenue This street used to be busy and full of life, but it is now a desolate, run-down wasteland. It is a good place for Central Urban members to hunt for small rodents, especially rats. Moderators: Maybe ♫, Kroobie

Old Dog Park This run-down old dog park was once popular among humans and their dogs, but now it is where Urban den-mothers come to train their pups and teach them important skills. It is much safer than the forest and offers many skill-building obstacles for young dogs to practice on. Moderators: Maybe ♫, Kroobie

Sapling Forest (1 sub-board) This charming little forest is situated just to the west of Pheonix Avenue. This is where the Urban Pack hunts small prey, such as mice, rabbits, possums, squirrels, voles, birds, raccoons, and if they're lucky, deer. Downtown Rogue Territory ;;
Condemned Subway Station >> (1 sub-board) This was once a bustling place where human commuters would spend their mornings and evenings, but now it is just a shady place for rogues and loners to rest and hunt rats and mice. Moderators: Maybe ♫, Kroobie

Main Street This large street was once the crime epicenter of Harlow Heights. Now, the graffitied store fronts and back alleys are void of all human life, but this place is still not safe. Bloodthirsty rogues and loners frequent this harsh, unforgiving place, so watch your back. Moderators: Maybe ♫, Kroobie
Land of Rust The dogs of Harlow Heights call it the Land of Rust. What it really is, is an old junkyard, where humans used to dump their old cars, couches, kitchen sinks, mattresses, and other crud they didn't need anymore. Now, it's where the rogue dogs of Harlow Heights hang out. Moderators: Maybe ♫, Kroobie

The Dump This is the Harlow Heights Waste Management Center, or as the dogs call it, the Dump. It is different from the Land of Rust, because it is the final resting place for all things garbage. If a rogue needs to find a meal quickly, this is where he would go. Since the rogues have very poor hunting ground, as all the good hunting places are claimed by packs, this is where most of them are forced to find their meals. Moderator: Maybe ♫

Evergreen Forest ;;
Rotwood Cabin >> (2 sub-boards) This old, rickety wood cabin used to be the home of an avid hunter and his wife. They lived far out in the forest, secluded from city life. They died and left the cabin abandoned long before the disease began to spread. Now, the Evergreen Forest Pack camps here. There's plenty of old, dusty furniture and rugs to keep the Evergreens comfy and warm. Moderators: Maybe ♫, Kroobie
Deepest Woods (1 sub-board) This is the deepest part of Evergreen Forest. It has the oldest, tallest trees in the vicinity. They block out most of the sunlight, making the forest a dark and cool place to live. This is the heart of Evergreen territory, rich with prey such as deer, elk, moose, foxes, stray cats, possum, squirrels, mice, voles, etc. It is also a very dangerous place for wanderers. Sundance Glade The only place in the forest where the sun shines freely is Sundance Glade. Here the trees are younger and smaller, the ground is covered with tall grass, and there is less undergrowth, making it the perfect place for deer to live. Moderators: Maybe ♫, Kroobie

Glowbug Falls The small river that bleeds out of Willow Pond ends up here, in a series of small but beautiful waterfalls. During the daytime, this area seems completely unremarkable, but the moonrise brings the falls to life with the presence of hundreds of fireflies. They dance through the tufts of overgrown grass and up the trunks of the large, leafy trees, making this the most breathtaking place in the forest. Moderator: Maybe ♫
